- First thing i like about college is campus life. Which provides exposure to all kind of extra curricular activities. Also learning experience of managing events and enjoy social life.
- Another thing is learning experience and opportunities with well equipped labs , huge availability of books in library and knowledge faculties.
Dislikes
- College infrastructure is quite old as college is more than 75 years old. Some old building have issues with fans and water coolers.
- Another thing i dislike is faculties unavailability because ld is government college some faculties are on election duty on election time so you miss some of your learning.
Remarks :
L.d college of engineering is one of the most reputed college in Gujarat and provides quality education, campus life and placement. This are the factors that made me decide this college. Admission is done by ACPC on basis of 12th board and gujcet percentile rank. Previous year Cut off can be checked on acpc website.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am in mechanical engineering and l.d college is one of the college that offers high placement offers in mechanical. Faculties are all knowledged individuals and helpful to students and are always ready to help. There are mainly two exams first one is mid term exam taken by college and second is University exam taken by GTU. College is government so college fee is around 2000 for boys and 500 for girls and in TFWS it is 500 for boys and 0 for girls. Students can apply for scholarships like mysy and digital Gujarat for hostel fee and books.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is not provided by college. Students themselves have to find internship but students can get internship because of good name of college. Also college helps students opting for projects by providing equipment to use in lab and also helps financially if the project is good with help of ssip cell.
Placement Experience :
In campus placement opportunities is provided to students with more than 100 companies visiting every year for recruitment. Some of the companies are well known like reliance, adani , gnfc , godrej. You can visit college website for placement record and companies that visit. For this year 2024 more than 800 students got placed. Highest package offered is 13 lpa and average package offered is 5.09 lpa.i am currently in 6th semester and i am also planning for campus placement.
Campus Life :
College has well maintained classrooms, labs, library,ground and reading rooms. Library has huge stock of books and ebooks. College has various clubs made by students for extra curricular activities. Robocon club , innovator club, prakalpa club, impulse for sports, dhanak for arts and some more. You can find this clubs on social media and ld college website. There are many fests, concerts and festival celebration in college. Some of the fest are national level fests like Lakshya fest . College hostel provides students coming from outside of Ahmedabad and also has mess which provides quality food in affordable prices. Also there are various pg and rental rooms available near college in 1 or 2 km area

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.
