LDCE Ahmedabad is a state-funded college established in 1948. It is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University and approved by AICTE.

LDCE Ahmedabad offers B.E as its flagship program. The fee for B.E is INR 6K. To be eligible for admission, candidates should have passed 10+2 in the PCM stream with 45% marks (5% marks relaxation for reserved category candidates) from a recognized board. LDCE Ahmedabad also offers an MCA program. The fee for MCA is INR 3.15K. To be eligible for admission, candidates should have completed graduation in any discipline with Mathematics as a compulsory subject from a recognized university. The selection process for admission is based on a valid score in the CMAT examination followed by ACPC counselling.

LDCE Ahmedabad Placement for the academic year 2024 is still going on. However, as per the official report, around 131 recruiters have participated, and 931 students have already secured placements. The top recruiting companies participating in the ongoing placement drive are HSBC, TATA Motors, Godrej, Reliance, Samsung, Accenture, Essar, Adani, Suzuki, and many others.
