Dislikes
- Non-autonomy of the college. Lot of students are missing out on opportunities because of this single reason
- There are a few, just few inter department issues that causes rift between the opportunities attainable by the department students
Remarks :
I got into the college based on TNEA ranking (Govt. Quota). It's is like an entrance exam based on your 12th score. My cut-off was 189.5/200 (100 for Maths, 50 Physics and 50 Chemistry). My rank was around 3600 in OC and I got ECE. For Management Quota also cut-off is the deciding criterion for our batch.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The College comes under Anna University. It's not autonomous yet. I believe it will be around 2025-2026. But till then, we syllabus and corrections are taken care by Anna University. The syllabus is a little old compared to existing technology. There are limited choices for selecting electives due to limited no. of students. The internal exams are conducted throughly without any sort of bias and Semester exams are, well Anna University. Internal exams are conducted based on questions that could be expected in Semester for practice. Regular brush up of syllabus through tests and quizzes are conducted. Faculties are easily approachable and encourage good communication. All the faculties are well qualified with minimum of a Master's degree. Teaching methods differ with each faculty but are effective nevertheless. Govt. Scholarship, Trust scholarships, as well as alumni scholarships are also available for students with poor economic conditions.
Internships Opportunities :
I got a Pre- Placement Internship in Valeo India Pvt, Ltd based on Graphics Design role. I get a stipend of 15,000/-. Students are also encouraged to attend Internships by IIT, IIIT, CSIT projects with the help of faculty and Senior contacts .
Placement Experience :
Placements are better than most colleges throughout TN. We have recruiters like NVIDIA, NXP, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Samsung R&D, ARM, Bosch and other recruiters for Core electronics. Intuit, Arcesium, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Paytm, Morgan Stanley and other recruiters for software jobs as well. These are high end companies and recruite around 1-5 people give or take, per year. But placements maybe affected by Economic conditions as well, like Recession and Market Drop. Highest package in our dept. as of now is 36LPA. This year it's around 24LPA from Qualcomm. Total highest is 40LPA in Intuit. You can also opt for Higher Studies if you're not interested in placements. Gate Coaching is arranged in addition to Placement coaching. Our college has excellent placement coaching for software based roles.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is very good. But you should be able to include yourself and participate in all events. We have Advaya(Cultural Fest), Yukthaha(Technical Fest), Daksha(Annual Day), Sports Day, Hostel Day and lot of other inter and intra college events. Dates may vary based on availability. Library is full automated and has a large variety of syllabus and supplementary books. We have Cricket, Basketball, volleyball, throw ball, Table tennis, Tennis, Chess, Badminton, Athletics teams which are active and have won in various competitions. Our college also encourages Squash. Hostel is very good compared to most hostels in the vicinity. Food might be an issue for people with sensitive appetite. Food quality is not bad but manageable. We have various clubs for Literature, Music, Dance, Quiz, Drama, Eco, Harmony, language clubs, Robotics etc, . We have special teams foor Rover design and EV design as well. The competition are called Formula Bharat, Baja-Sae, and International Rover Challenge.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
