- Loyola college will be very spacious. It has a beautiful and pleasant campus. You can see trees everywhere in our campus. It also has four playgrounds. So, Loyola has a very good infrastructure facilities.
- Faculties are very experienced and knowledgeable. Professors are very friendly. They will clear our doubts without any hesitation. Most of the faculties are Ph. D holders and had cleared NET & SET exams.
Dislikes
- You need to maintain 80% of attendance to write your semester exam. If you have 65% of attendance, you can write semester exams after paying condonation fees. If your attendance is less than 65%, you can't write your exams. You can only write in next semester. Loyola college will be strict incase of attendance.
- You can't do anything without paying fees. If you don't pay your semester fees, you can't write your exams. They will also charge a lot of fees in the name of exam fees, University fees, semester fees. They will also levy fine if you don't pay your fees on time.
Remarks :
Loyola college is the No. 1 college in TamilNadu and No. 4 in India.They are providing a lot of courses like B.Com, BBA, B.A, B.Sc., M.Com, M.Sc., MBA etc. There are 2 shifts: Shift 1 is government aided (fees will be lesser) & Shift 2 is management (fees will be little higher). For UG courses, you don't have any entrance test or GD but they will consider your 12th mark. You must have scored above 85% in 12th to secure an admission. For PG courses, you will be having entrance test and personal interview. They will also consider your CGPA in your UG. You must have scored a CGPA of 6.5 and above in UG. I chose this college because of the following reasons: -One of the best colleges in India. -Quality of education is very excellent. -Professors are very friendly and knowledgeable. Most of the professors are Ph.D degree holders. -They are providing scholarship facilities to the economically backward students. -We will get placement in top companies.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It is an autonomous college. They prepare the course syllabus by themselves. The syllabus are very relevant to the course program. Loyola has a very good, knowledgeable and experienced faculties. Faculties have cleared NET & SET exams. Most of the professors are Ph. D holders. Teaching will be done using ICT tools(PPT, projectors etc.). They will conduct two CIA exams before semester exam. There are 5 units. In CIA 1, first 2&1/2 units will be covered and the other 2&1/2 units will be covered in CIA 2. And We will have total 5 units for semester exam. Question paper difficulty level will be moderate. You can easily pass the exam. Passing mark is 40/100. Suppose if you want get more marks, you need to study hard. Shift 1 fees will be around Rs.8000 - 20000 per semester and Shift 2 fees will be around Rs.25000-80000 per semester. They will also provide scholarship facilities for SC/ST/ADX/OBC students.
Internships Opportunities :
The companies like Goldman sachs, World Bank etc. came to our college for providing internship opportunities. Many students have got selected for internship. The roles offered are Business development trainee etc. But I didn't attend any of the placements for the internships. Therefore, I don't know about this in detail.
Placement Experience :
Loyola college has the very good placement cell. Every year, more than 400 students are getting placed in top companies. You can apply for placement in your final year. The companies visited our college for placement are Deloitte, EY, Goldman sachs, Accenture, ICICI Bank, TMB etc. In this year, more than 35 companies have visited our college for placement purpose. The highest package we got is Rs. 7.5 LPA (by ICICI Bank) and the average package is Rs. 4.5 LPA. Now I have completed B. Com (Corporate Secretaryship). I am going to study M. Com in Loyola College itself. I am rejoining this college for my PG degree because I like this college a lot.
Campus Life :
Loyola college campus will be very pleasant and good. It is built on 100 acres of land. College will be very spacious. It has 4 playgrounds. Loyola college is known for its cultural activities. Every year, they conduct a cultural program named Ovation. It is a two day big event. It is a good place to show our talents. We have a lot of colleges nearby. We can participate in their cultural programs too. We have a very huge and spacious Library with more than 1,00,000 books. We will also have a digital library with 30+ computers. Loyola college provides a lot of facilities to sports person. It gives admission through sports quota. It provides free accommodation to sports person. They will also conduct sports day every year. It has a lot of clubs like NCC, NSS, Rotaract, Photography, Consumer club etc. The website is www.loyolacollege.edu. Incase of hostel, the fees will be around 1 lakh per year. Food will be very good. You can apply for hostel through online(Use above website).

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
