- Infrastructure is good for the classes and pretty decent.
Dislikes
- I would say faculty was not so good and they were too sugary for admission but didn't like the staff.
Remarks :
I found this college at google from a site and then visited the campus after talking with admission department. I took direct admission, there was not any type of entrance or something. Just submitted the registration fee.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i wanted to pursue graduation in this field. Staff is pretty average and none of them were Phd. All staff were mostly Master degree holder. 2 or 3 teachers were good with good knowledge in the field. Staff keep changing every semester. Exams were taken timely at university and were pretty easy for an average student. Fee remained same through out my curriculum and my fee was Rs5000 less than that of general students because of Obc quota scholarship.
Placement Experience :
There were no recruitment for our course that is agriculture. Although they provide placement drive every year but only for engineering students and pharmacy students. In our batch there were no placement as such.
Campus Life :
They conduct 2 program in a year one for freshers that is in october and one for farewell mostly in march month. Library was good but for my course books were not available. Classrooms are clean and well maintained. There were no such sports event conducted. During my course only one time sports meet held. I took hostel in my 1st semester and left after 6 months. Food is awful and building is too old. I would never recommend hostel. Hostel is for Rs 18000 for 1 semester. Pg facility is available in a near village alampur. Rooms are available from 2000 to 4000 and with food around 5500-6000. You can also find rooms in rajpura.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
