Likes
- They maintain infrastructure well, because faculty are illiterate and campus life is like hell.
- Don't come here at any cost. Specially North Indian students must have option of suicide prior to taking admission here.
Dislikes
- There is everything to dislike about this University, this city and this State. My life has become worse than hell after coming here.
- Reminding again, even if you are my enemy I will want no North Indian students to come here.
Remarks :
It appears as the best university for Bioinformatics on Google. If you have a simple headache, Google shows that you have brain tumor, so never believe in Google. It has a good NAAC and NIRF ranking but all these are show off, in reality it is the most horrible place, worst people and as state it is better to die than to come to this Tamil Nadu.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Tamil Nadu has high literacy rate as education is cheap here but no one is even qualified for passing even a class 5th exam. Non of my faculty knows to speak even a sentence in English even the HOD who is also the dean of science. They do not have even know even the simplest thing. Here only Tamil people are promoted, even if you are a good student yet a dumbfuck Tamil will top or the one who can lick professor ass clean. So education wise Tamil Nadu as state and Alagappa University has the worst education, actually there is no education in short. So your second last option should be suicide and last option should be to come to south India to study.
Internships Opportunities :
Nothing is available. They don't have anything to provide. They are incapable of providing education forget about internship and all. This university is good for nothing. It shows there is this our students have this placement and internship and what not, but in reality it is hollow cylinder with vaccum space.
Placement Experience :
Forgot about it. There is no such thing of placement or internship of this short. The professor themselves gave money to buy phd and got job what do you think they will have connection to help you with job and internship. Doing any degree from here and hibernating are same thing. Don't even think of placement or internship.
Campus Life :
There is no life, forget about campus life. You are forced to wear heavy clothes as it is their tradition. On my personal self due to high dehydration, I nearly faced liver failure even after that they are asking me to wear thick shirt. They hate and totally deny on face to celebrate any festival other than Tamil festival. There is no sense of feeling and responsibilities for other state people. Other state people are just for NAAC grading to get fund and we are made to feel that thing that we are only a instrument to get NAAC grading and funding. In campus non tamil are seen and treated like untouchables. Every second you will feel to cry and suicide this is the campus life at Alagappa University.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
