This is one of the best private medical colleges in Kerala in terms of academics. I got admission through NEET exam. During allotments get allotted to a college based on your preference order and the number of seats available. With the rank I got, this was one of the best options possible.
I chose MBBS because I found it to be very interesting, to study the human body. The faculties in the college are well qualified and quite good. They do take a lot of effort to teach. Having 2 sessional exams and a model exam each year, all the exams are conducted on time with prior notice. The exams were conducted based on the KUHS guidelines and the NMC guidelines. The cost to complete the course will be around 35-40 lakhs for a Keralite with no reservations.
During house surgery, the stipend is around 20k. The person is posted in multiple departments for the development of knowledge in all the departments. The schedule is quite hectic. The person gets to experience how superior doctors take a case and learn from them.
In the medical field, we have a one-year internship program where the person is known as a house surgeon. Clinical exposure starts in the second year of the course. The house surgeon is posted in different departments for a particular period. After the course, most people prefer doing post-graduation instead of working. Most hospitals offer a job as a junior doctor in the same hospital.
The management of the college gives more importance to academics than co-curricular activities. So compared to engineering colleges, the number of fests happening is quite low. There is a library with a vast collection of medical and non-medical books. The campus has a basketball volleyball and football ground. It also has a synthetic badminton court within the boy's hostel. The mess food isn’t that great. The men's hostel infrastructure is quite bad. The toilets are poorly maintained and the rooms are small with insufficient amenities. The hostel fees are pretty affordable though.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
