Remarks :
I chose this college because GEC Thrissur is in my opinion the best college for mechanical engineering under KTU. The admission to this college was purely based on the KEAM score and the marks of plus 2.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I was interested. All the faculties of GEC Thrissur are well qualified with PGs and PHDs, and years and years of experience. The University exams are conducted semester wise and internals are conducted twice within the semester duration. The expenses (fees and hostels)are very affordable . Different Scholarship are also available for the students to choose from .
Placement Experience :
The placements at GEC are controlled by the Placement cell of the college. Which is very efficient working. The eligibility for partaking in placement drives is that the students should be at least a 5th semester student. All students starting from the 5th semester are eligible for placements.
Campus Life :
The campus life at GEC Thrissur is a wonderful experience. The working of different clubs like NSS and the pain and palliative club " Oasis " helps the students to gain memorable moments. There are a large number of clubs other than those mentioned above. The main fest of GEC is DHYUTHI, during the days of Dyuthi the campus of GEC lights up even more. Even though fests are conducted studies are also given equal importance. Separate libraries and other facilities are available for each department. Hostel facilities are also available for the students, admission to the government hostels is based on your grades along with the distance between your house and where your college is.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
