- The atmosphere of the college is peaceful. There are not many disturbances and as the students are low, there aren't many issues. You could take a book and read anywhere in the college. It does have great spots to enjoy peace.
- The campus life was good, I got a lot of friends and I don't regret coming to this college. Only due to this college, I have got a great friend circle. They made my campus life great.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is not good, It is in standards for a building but as a college, it did need a lot more facilities.
- The programs, programs are conducted by the students and there isn't much co ordination from the college side, which makes the programs poor. We need to collect the funds among ourselves inorder to get a good program and if the conducting student body is not good, then the program will be a flop.
Remarks :
The college is good, you have a library, a small ground, the college is even situated on the top of a hill. The building consists of two floors which belong to our department and a third floor which belongs to the journalism page. The auditorium is also on this floor. The admission process is smooth there is not much hassle. we can apply through two methods either with the MGU portal or directly with the college. There is no fee difference in both methods of admission. But, if you fall under the reserved category, apply through the MGU portal so that you can avail of scholarships up to 100% in semester fees. I took admission directly with the college. There is no interview process or rounds for admission. Only if the number of applications is higher will they ask for a cut of 60% on the 12th. They keep your original 12th and 10th mark sheet in the college and only give it back at graduation or course completion.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course mainly because of its subject. I love the cyber world, I like to watch sci-fi movies and cyberpunk themes. So I chose this one, Also the course was not very popular in my town and I wanted to try different from the traditional way. The course also provides great job opportunities. The qualifications of the faculties and the college are great, they know what they are teaching. There are two internal exams conducted by the college and a semester exam conducted by the university. For the internal exams, the best out of the two is taken as internal marks. The fee hike is not a possibility here, but who knows? new govt, new rules but the fee hike won't be more than 2000. There are exam fees which are needed to be paid to write the semester exam.
Internships Opportunities :
I have undergone internship training, but not from the college. There is no dedicated semester for interviews. In the final semester, we are given two to three months for the final thesis, during this period one could go for internship training. The college is good at supporting us, even if the paperwork for internship the college and faculty do it fast without any hassle. My project was Face detection using OpenCV.
Placement Experience :
There is no placement cell in the college. The students need to apply and learn themselves for the interview process. On average most of the students get a good salary package from 2.5 lpa to 3 lpa. It may also increase depending on the skillset. You could go to any IT field as in this course we learn many computer languages like python, java, c, HTML. I plan to take a master's degree in cyber security and then move abroad later or settle here.
Campus Life :
Campus life was good, but not great. There aren't many club activities in the college, there aren't many clubs in the first place. The college does have a good library filled with thesis and past year student projects and seminars, but there aren't many books, like a variety of ones. The library is peaceful and you could read books and take it home to read. The classroom is great, the boards are white marker boards for teaching. When the projector is needed, they take it and show it on the board. The students don't run any clubs or websites, college politics are there, and elections. But, It is not that strong. new students meet at the college and share their contact and they need to start a social media group. The college doesn't have any hostel facilities available but, the nearby house owners are providing paying guest option. they provide rooms, shared or single with food. mostly the price is around 5 thousand, for both stay and food.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
