Things you must know before joining NUALS( Some are scary but trust me there are stuff scarier)
Likes
- The library is huge and has a very good collection of study materials.It is comfortable especially during the summer as it is air conditioned and os functional through out the day ever day of the week.It also has several discussion rooms and moot prep rooms reserved and also rooms that are designated for eagh vourse like the LLB vourse,LLM and PhD
- The hostel being very accessible(inside the college ) is really helping in reducing unnecessary travel and waste of time.There is a canteen inside the college but the more famous spot is 500 meters outside the college which is a cheap place but good food ,there are sveral stores but majorly 3 that the students love to go.
Dislikes
- The administration can be pretty redundant when it comes to moot reimbursement.The process is tiresome and takes months to get an approval.Event conduction is also not very smooth for the same reason.
- The avid fly situation in the hostels are a nightmare.These insects are majorly seen during monsoons and rhey enter the girls hostel.They are a menace because rheir sting causes acid burn on the skin.Several measures are initiated but they are not of full effect.The college administrators are keen on finding a solution though.
Remarks :
The admission is solely based on CLAT ranking and scores. There are no further Interviews.The admissions are made directly through the consortium website of the National Law Universities.The cut off is different every year and depends upon the scores each year.The consortium site offers you to sign up for 6 NLUs and u shall be admitted according to rank through 5 allotments. The CLAT examination is a general Law entrance exam and its marks are also considered by some private universities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is pretty good and is standard and even has certain subjects exclusive to the University like History of Statutory Presumptions and Law. The faculty is learned and experienced and every semester goes through a review in writing from students which is sent to the Vice Chancellor and this is kept anonymous. There are Semester examinations and a minimum of 3 internal Assessments Tests for each paper. The cost of study is pretty standard and by far better than private universities where the double is paid for much less opportunities and facilities. The placement cell is functional and really helpful with several campus placements and PPOs. The NLU tag that is received by the students after graduation is of much value when appearing for any interviews.
Internships Opportunities :
There are several centres that provide internships in online mode.There is also an Internship Cell that updates the internship opportunities and help us shortlist the best internships and pin point the requirements for each of them.Eagh batch has 2 representatives who shall keep the communication and community alive.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell is really helpful and there ar campus placements from several renowned legal firms litigation and corporate hiring students before their graduation. The major forms involve Trilegal, JSA,Khaitan etc
Campus Life :
The campus is a small one but pretty big for the population as the college offers only Law and the total number of students is only 500. The college does the have strict and unreasonable restrictions.There is a curfew at 9 to enter the campus and the hostel curfew is at 11.The hostels are within the campus thus it is very easy to navigate. The class hours are also very cordial to the sleep schedule. The student body has a general group which is ready to help you out with any needs be it with syllabus, internship, food requirements, general complaints and resolutions, or even basic ranting.The hostels are comfortable with 3 sharing rooms and attached washrooms. Mess is student run and the menu is decided by the students. It is pretty decent food. Though there is no need for an stay outside campus there are several available. Sports and extracurricular activities are entirely upto the person and it is not upto the college here.The live is huge and air-conditioned with quite a stable wifi connection

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
