Likes
- For MBA and for my batch faculties are too good very friendly and whenever I needed their help they supported me like once I reached the exam centre without my admit card I forgot to collect it from college HoD mam immediately arranged it for me at the centre itself.
- Campus is above average, in classrooms you can get basic fan in all classes and some class also has smart projectors.
Dislikes
- Sports is the main concern you could not get much to do on name of sports there is no event or any activity of sports that may disappoint you. And the benches are also not that good if you are going to attend a continuous two hour class its not going to be easy.
Remarks :
There was no entrance exam process any interview, I took admission on a direct walk-in counseling basis, and since the seats were vacant at that time I simply got the admission most of the students took admission through this way only you do not need to qualify any exam like CAT, CMAT to take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have been preparing for civil services and I need to have other plans as well considering my future and I thought an MBA would be a good option. Faculties here are very qualified, have great command of their subjects, conceptual clarity, and most importantly their delivery of thought is very student friendly, also they are very supportive towards students in different aspects like academics, placement guidance, and many more. Considering the exam process so there is semester wise per decided plan that students get and they stick to the plan and all the events and exams are held properly according to the scheduled dates In a semester there were two mid-semester tests among which you would have to give only one and if you want you can give both and then final university exams are held. What is the fee is 40000 per year for my BIST branch other than that there is an exam fee according to the university semester and a scholarship is also given according to government norms I got around 30000 for a year
Internships Opportunities :
The placement cell and the assigned mentor provide you with the details of vacancies that are available and also conduct workshops for the same. Some local companies from Bhopal itself approach the institute for interns other than that the Bansal group is also very broad so they have their associates as well.
Placement Experience :
Placement records are decent you can get a package of around 5-7 lakh per Annum if you have prepared properly for the placements. From the college side regular mock aptitude tests are conducted and mock interviews as well they also have a dedicated placement cell for this which looks after all of these processes and organizes various seminars and events as well. 40% of students in my batch who seriously wanted to be placed in any company have got some decent offers and since the placements are on so many more are going to get them. The highest package till now for an MBA is around 8 lakh per annum.
Campus Life :
Many festivals are organized throughout the year like last one was Bansal Mahotsav in which the performers were Farhan Akhtar, DJ Olley Esse, and others. The library is quite good you can get your all academic books there and since I love to read novels and Hindi literature and I got some of these kinds of books as well overall environment of the library like sitting in, a silent place these are all good. As far as sports is concerned there is not much about sports here but there is a big ground behind campus where if you have sports equipment you can use that in your free time like we used to play cricket and extracurricular activities are regularly conducted like many kinds of competitions. A canteen facility is also available and the quality of food is decent though you could not get many options and the prices are quite affordable. A hostel facility is not available. Their buses are available for the entire city where you rent a room for yourself and the bus fees you have to pay other than college fees.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.
An unexpected journey

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
