Dislikes
- Infrastructure there is no AC in library also cafeteria is so noisy and campus. Also no indoor sports facility.
- ERP, you need to submit assignments hard copy then i don't understand what is the use of uploading it to ERP.
Remarks :
The are only a few colleges that provide MCA-Cybersecurity program JECRC is one of them. I preferred to choose JECRC because of it's EC-Council collaboration which is also a recognized institute in tdomain of cybersecurity. There are 3 certifications that they provide along with training(CND, CEH, CEH-Practical). Rest of the syllabus is almost the same as of normal MCA program. The admission procedure is very simple you just need 65% in BCA or with computer science in graduation. Good aspects are: 1. There are a lot of clubs and student council which gives you a lot of opportunities to sharpen your skills and showcase your talent. 2. The university conduct Hackathons, Events, Workshops, and Seminars on regular basis. 3. Placement is also good the average package is around 6.5lpa, highest package of 50lpa+, Companies like Accenture, infosys, Wipro, and Syntax are mass recruiters. 4. CRT program of the University. The bad aspect is- Almost null on-campus placements in the cybersecurity domain
Course Curriculum Overview :
The fee for a normal program for MCA is 1lpa and with any specialization, it's 1.5lpa along with a 10k admission fee in first sem. Hostel fees are 1.6lpa for AC Room and 1.2lpa for Non-AC Room which is indeed worth paying. The university conducts 3 In-Sem(3 for those who missed any of the In-Sem before) and one End Sem Exam. You will have to submit 5 Assignments per subject in each sem. Most of the faculty have PhD in their respective subjects and those who do not have worked for well-recognized companies for years. The teaching method is good also most of the teachers are very good and can help you in landing into good companies. You will get good class notes and you can easily pass university exams reading them and assignments. 75% attendance is mandatory(5-10% can be adjusted if you are in good books of your faculty). There is no scholarship scheme for MCA.
Internships Opportunities :
University gives you 4th semester for an internship but if you get any internship before then you can get NOC in 3 semesters too. Also, the university will only guide you in searching for an internship. 3 semester syllabus contains a mini project and 4 semesters of a major project if you get no internship in 4 semesters then you can ask any of your faculty to mentor you in your project.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement vary with companies. Companies like AU, and Hero ask for no backlogs and students having more than 8 CGPA while companies Accenture and Syntax ask for no backlog and more than 6 CGPA. Every year more than 200 companies visit for campus placements out of which around 10 are mass recruiters each year. The highest package for university is 55lpa by Microsoft then 44lpa by Amazon and the average package for a university is 5-6 lpa. Almost 75-80% of students are getting on-campus placement every year. I plan to get an off-campus placement before getting my degree no doubt university offers a good placement opportunity because I want to work in the cybersecurity domain in which the university has almost NULL placements. But let's hope for something better as placement coordinators are stating that this year companies are visiting for cyber domain too.
Campus Life :
Rhythm is the biggest fest of JECRC which is conducted at the end of March. It's a three-day fest in which you can enjoy games, dance, and cultural activities and every day ends with a celebrity show and a DJ Night. There are 2 libraries in JECRC with a sufficient number of books for students. The only drawback is there is no AC in the library but still one can sit and study also you can use PCs which are available in the library for research purposes. JECRC has a separate sports club. American Football, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Basketball are some of the popular sports in JECRC. University also conduct sports meet every year. Student Council is the back bone of all other clubs. JU Socials(a club that is managed by students and also provide jobs opportunities to them), Marvic, Swarag(Music), Abhivakti(drama), VidBlend(vloggers), empower cell(to provide mental support), IAESTE etc are a lot of clubs that are managed by students in JECRC each year you get the opportunity to join them. I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
