- The Campus location,Computer Labs and Canteens are chill spots.
- The teachers and labs are interesting and the college website really helps you track your pending works.
Dislikes
- The College Hostel could be improved and hostel restrictions are a bit unnecessary
- Semester Exams are sometimes not given adequate time for portion completion as the college is under KTU
Remarks :
Cyber Security and AI are pretty new courses in Kerala.Since i had always been interested in the IT field, among all the choices i was more interested in Cyber Security.Since this course was not available anywhere near my hometown i had to research and finally found RIET.The college was recommended by my uncle and as far as admission process goes,you can take admission via a decent 12th markscore or via merit(Entrance Exams such as KEAM,JEE etc.).No i did not encounter any interviews or tests.Before taking admission make sure you research more about the college via their students and their experiences.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Cyber Security is a course which would never not have a scope.There are infinite opportunities in this field and since i am personally interested in this subject,i had to choose this course.The faculties are the main highlight of this course.Teachers and their methods of teaching are really interesting.They are really friendly and are always available to clear your doubts.Teaching methods could be strict but at the end of the day they would make you prepared for your semester exams and thats what matters
Placement Experience :
Since i am currently in my second year,i still have not done any internships or workshops run by the college.According to my seniors,internships start from the third year onwards and majority of the students get placed.The college has ties with companies such a TCS,Apple,Infosys etc.Placements are limited and ofcourse you shouldn't consider everything on just a college degree right.
Campus Life :
The College Campus is Huge and is located on a sloppy hilly region in Attingal. Campus life is pretty good with chilling spots and the scenery is beautiful. Libraries and Canteens are always housefull. Coming to college fests,we got ITIHA,EUPHORIA as cultural events and sport events too such as meliga.ITIHA is the biggest event produced by the college and it includes countless activites,clubs and auto-shows.These events mostly take place during summer. Talking about Hostel,since i opted for hostel,this is my experience. The rooms,vibes and cleanliness are pretty good and the scenery adds to it.The downside is the food and insects.Food is pretty boring and consists of a carbohydrate diet.Insects are a bad case and the management has to do something about it. According to my opinion,if your opting for this college,please do not consider the hostel.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
