- The best thing about RIE Bhopal is its exposure for sports and athletics . It has football and cricket ground , and also volleyball and basketball courts. It also has indoor and outdoor gym and courts for badminton and table tennis. Apart from this campus also have a tennis court. The playgrounds and courts are open for students all day. We can be flexible with our playing time wether it be 6 a.m in morning or 8 p.m in evening.
- Other best thing about RIE is its infrastructure. It has multiple laboratories with good equipments. Students are allowed to practice and experiment in the working hours. Even some of equipments can be issued by students for their personal experiments . Apart from this the library is open even on sundays and it consist almost every book from old to new releases accompanied by several computers and good WiFi for online studies.
Dislikes
- The most hated thing is the length of college day , it starts from 9 a.m to 5 p.m with lunch of 1 and half hour in between . And being mandatory 75% attendance, you have to attend most of the classes. After this long schedule there is very little room for self study.
- Hostel mess is the second thing I dislike because no level of hygene is maintained in mess and even though workers keep changing food quality remains same. And hostels are over occupied with 3 person in rooms of 2 .
Remarks :
I personally was made aware of RIE Bhopal by my physics teacher an alumini of RIE Bhopal. RIE is one of the very renouned instition among teacher. About admission , NTA conducts RIE CEE which includes questions on aptitude ,language and core subjects. After the results students will be contacted accordingly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum:-My course is B.Sc. B.Ed and the curriculum inclues sufficient subject kowledge and exposure. To be honest curriculum mainly focuses on practical experience rather than intellectual knowledge. Faculty:-The faculty is satisfactory as most of the lectures are taken by professors having 20+ years of teaching experience. Lectures are dynamic, ICT tools and demonstrations are held time to time. Exams:-There is one internal exam that is conducted in middle of semester and the end term exams are conducted at the end of semester. Fees:- The best part is fee is fairly low. Total cource fees for non-hostellers is around 40000 and for hostellers its around 90000( without 2200 mess charges per month). There are many scholarships like medhavi, MPTAASC and NCERT schllorship available here(only if you don't have any ATKT) and tution fee amount refunded varies according to scholarship program sellected and caste. Eg. People from minority in MPTAASC program will get full cource fee back.
Internships Opportunities :
College offers mandatory internship of 4 month in 7th semester but students don't get paid during internship. Students are asked to make groups and select K.Vs and J.N.Vs around M.P and some neighbouring states. Students on internship are constantly evaluated and observed by the professors of college and local teachers. Some of the students also get internship in DMS which is present in every RIE's campus.
Placement Experience :
RIE Bhopal has a placement rate of nearly 100%. Institute has set elegibility criteria of 75% attendence but actually it allows everyone to appear for placements. Mainly private schools like DPS poddar international school , etc come in placements and number of recruiters remains around 30. Highest package went this year is 65k monthly with accomodation. But for B.A student average package is about 40k monthly and for B.sc students its 35k monthly. Almost every student gets placement but around one fourth students refuse placement on getting below expectation package. I am currently planning of taking placements and opting for higher studies from distance University.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good consisting gym ,sports facility ,auditorium , medical facility, library, canteens and store. Numerous fests are organised annually including cultural fest, scientific and literary fest, sports and athletic fests , around the month of april. Campus has free library facilities with ample quantity of book including journals , refrence books on nearly every topic which can be issued for 10 days at a time. Classrooms are well maintained with sufficient desk ,white board and projector. Campus has a big playground for sports like football ,cricket,volleyball and badminton , TT and basketball courts and a gym. There are clubs like sports club, culturals club and literary club mainly consisting students to conduct various activities. Now about the hostel , it has 3 girls and 2 boys hostel. Hostel costs around 10k yearly but actually it is over occupied with 3 student in rooms of 2. Not to mention the food hygiene and quality is really bad ????.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
