All about the best NIT in India

- One thing I like about the campus is it's area, it has a huge area of 800 acres and it's perfect to go cycling around.
- I also like the 2K Market and cafe coffee day they have in campus.
Dislikes
- The buildings are very old and not maintained well
- The campus area hasn't been used very well and the sports facilities aren't very good.
Remarks :
You get into this college through JEE mains. The cut-off rank usually depends on reservation categories and branches, but NIT Trichy is the topmost NIT so the cutoff for the college will be the highest among all NITs. People usually choose this college for its NIRF rank. It is ranked 9 in all engineering colleges. For JEE mains I did NCERT thoroughly and I feel like that's more than enough for the paper.
Course Curriculum Overview :
ICE is one of the circuital branches and that's why people usually choose this branch. The faculty are highly qualified many of whom studied in top IITs and NIT. In one semester we have 2 cycle tests and one end-semester examination. We have assignments as well which will be taken for grade. The exams are of average difficulty.
Placement Experience :
I'm thinking of going for higher studies abroad. I still haven't made up my mind about what I wanna do. I might sit for placements as well to see how they go. Placements will be good for us by the time we come to the fourth year.
Campus Life :
We have 3 major fests. Festember which is held in September, NITTFEST which is held in March, and Pragyan which is held in February. First years also have a desperate fest called Aaveg. The library is huge and there are a lot of books and resources which are easily accessible. Sports and extracurricular activities are very active and there are a lot of clubs and teams for this aspect. There are a lot of tech clubs and different clubs. The hostel isn't very good. It's average. The food is of good quality and they always try to supply good food and consider your opinions in mess meetings.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
