Is mechanical from IES, IPS Academy indore worth it?

- The auditoriums are very elegant and are very well maintained

- There are no classes alloted for the students of mechanical engineering.
- The labs have many machines but are not mantained
- Some of The machines in labs are broken.
- The principal of Engineering department doesn't care about the mechanical department
Remarks :
The most important factor that made me choose this college were the placements in it. There were also some other private instutions available but I choose this one because oje of mmy super senior got placed at 4.2cr(in germany, tesla) from here. The admission process was simple I just had to call Here and a faculty elaborated the admission process from phone call itself. There were no entrance test required to give in here and the only basis for admission was jee marks. They only saw that I scored OK marks in jee and gave me the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this cource because I have some major intrest in cars and I came to take automobile branch but it was not available here so I had to choose mechanical. The faculty here are quite good they have some good teaching experience and a lot of knowledge but some of them are not able to teach properly even after having some good experience. The terms are completed in around 4 months and then next semester of 4 months and then semester gap. The exams are conducted properly and strictly and the question papers are made in college itself and even checked in college itself by the same faculty of the teaching subject. The exams difficulty is not very hard, one can pass the exams by studying a day before exams. For fail students Re-exams are conducted after the copies are checked(around 10-15 days after the exams) and per subject the fee is 500. For Main exam the exam form costs around 2000 rs. The total cost to study including exam form is 44k per semester and scholar of 27k also alloted
Placement Experience :
The college offers a very good placement and they are very responsible regarding the placements. The college faculty provides a very good assistance with the placements and it a student is not placed by the campys they take the responsibility to give him/her a job. There were many companies that visited in mechanical dept some of them are reliance, vedanta, EICHER, Force, Etc. The average package is of around 3.2 Lpa and highest is around 20Lpa-30Lpa. There are 100% placements offered over here.
Campus Life :
The best thing about this college is the college life of the students. There are several events hosted in college campus. The main event of the engineering department is Swaranjali. Swaranjali is awesome event and occurs in October or november time. There are several events and competitions occur here in this like gaming, singing, dance, several sports event etc. You can play any sport any time, you just need permission from the faculty and they will provide you with anything related you want. The sports event is occurred in swaranjali itself.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
