- Infrastructure is newly built which includes main college building, hostels and many more and all latest equipments are present in laboratories and library is well maintained.
- Faculty here is by far great as much i know. Teachers are highliy qualified proffessionals. Some of them are also reallocated from AIIMS jodhpur. So year academics is top notch here.
Dislikes
- Main con factor is harsh weather during summers. Here in rajasthan due to location, extreme weather is there sometimes even 46°C is crossed.
- It is situated at the highway NH62. Therefore bit far from the main city.
Remarks :
Main driving factors behind choosing a government medical college, pali were First, this was closer to my hometown. Secondly, the faculty here is by far great, some of the teachers are also reallocated from AIIMS, Jodhpur. So, do not worry about the academic part. Thirdly, the infrastructure is newly built and all the laboratories have the latest equipment. Fourthly, this college has a great reputation considering the annual results of university examinations. So these were the main factors. My main dislikes as I noticed here were the harsh summer weather which goes upto 46°C and the location which is far from the city ie on NH62 Highway. So overall it's a great choice I advise. The admission process is transparent and occurs through online and offline counselling which is based on all India rank basis. Cut-offs are nearly 636 marks and 9500 AIR (may increase in subsequent years due to high competition). I prepared under the guidance of my parents and teachers in my hometown.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Generally, MBBS is quite a long course which is 5.5 years including an internship to be accurate. My main motive behind choosing this course was my interest in this field and my desire to serve the nation and fulfil my and my parents' dreams. The faculty is by far great here and highly qualified no doubt. All the teachers are professionals in their respective fields. Qualifications are MBBS, MD, MS PhDs etc and many more. Teaching methods are also student-centered and focused on interactive learning. Seminars and sessions are held weekly to promote group learning and teacher-student interaction. Term exams occur timely provided by Rajmes which is the governing body and are of moderate to high difficulty. The fee hike policy is quite clear as the tuition fee remains the same for the whole course duration but all other fees are liable to a 5-10% hike yearly. Scholarships are mainly for reservation students.
Internships Opportunities :
One year compulsory internship is provided which is bounded by the government in which we have to work in district hospitals under senior doctors and well-qualified professionals which provides us with an extra clinical edge which is essential as only theory knowledge does not matter here. Internships are compulsory for everybody to complete the degree. Postings are changed every month we are placed in different wards monthly which focuses on overall knowledge of the field. The stipend is generally decided by the state government ( government medical college pali, stipend is around 1.3 Lakhs annually)
Placement Experience :
Placements are quite different here in medical colleges. We are provided with a compulsory internship of one year in which we have to serve and work under the government. We are placed in the affiliated hospital to the college which is generally a district hospital ( Bangur Hospital, pali in our college). So we have to serve and learn under our senior doctors and PR who guide us and provide us with the required knowledge to excel in our fields. Duties are posted in different wards monthly so overall all learning is taken into account. After this, you can go for a further degree or work in any medical college or hospital accourding to vacancy and your excellence. I plan to compete for NEET-PG and get a seat in my chosen branch.
Campus Life :
Campus life is great here. Yearly fests and other activities are conducted. DEEPTAM is our yearly fest which comprises a mix of literary, cultural, fun activities, sports and much more. Concerts are held, DJ nights are organized and late night jamming is done. In this not only students but teachers also participate. Libraries are fully air-conditioned and provide us with annually updated books by different authors on different subjects. Many of them are too costly for students to buy so the library is quite essential for medicine. Lecture halls are great and have seating of 150-180 students. Students are free to form social groups and organize events. For eg, we have a green core committee which looks after the greenery of the college and focuses on planting more and more trees. Hostel buildings are also newly built and are provided by govt itself at the fee decided by the government. Separate hostels are present for boys and girls. Two meal options are also available which provide decent food.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.

As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
