- Academics is pretty good and infrastructure, faculty and comapus life is good in loyola.
Dislikes
- The lack of girl students. As loyola only provide girl students for a minimum girl students and that too for only a limited courses.
Remarks :
The factors that made me to choose loyola college is that it is one of the best college in tamilnadu as well as in india also and it is ranked number three in the Nirf ranking of the best colleges in India right now. Academics are the best part of the college as the professors have a good plan of the syllabus and the professors have cut off the syllabus to what is needed and they also help every student without any discrimination on the marks. Me, As I was opted for the first shift i didn't have any interviews and i got the admissions through merit based on marks only and the cut-off mark was 60%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and the course i have taken is BA literature and i think the course for me is well structured as when i entered loyola i was a beginner in the first year and the course was very easy to understand for me and the slowly started to become understanding and interesting. The faculties for me is very supportive and helpful in every aspects if its in the academics or in the cultural activities. The scholarship is provided by the college for single girl child as well as for students from below the poverty line and for me the fees is 9000 for a semster and i think it is affordable by students.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internship from the press information bureau, the college provided the internship. Mainly the companies that come to the internship is hindu, times of india etc.The roles offered by the companies are assisting the assisting the editor etc. The mainly job offered is editing job etc.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities provided by loyola is the best as it has 100% placement opportunities. The eligibility criteria for placement starts at the last year of the course. The few visited recruiters are the strive, accenture, hindu. The highest package was 10 lakhs, the average package is 4 lakhs. My plans after getting the graduation is to do the post graduation.
Campus Life :
Life in loyola is very enjoyable as for the two months it will be little bit difficult to cope up with the life and schedule of the college but afterwards to will become your home as students from different parts of india come and we could learn from them and we could enjoy different festivals together. The fest that is conducted in loyola is called ovations, and famous stars from film industries visit the college at that time. The library of loyola is one of the best in tamilnadu with every book varieties. The classroom are well maintained and the classrooms are smart classrooms. The hostel food quality is pretty good. The registration for the hostel is after the admission and it is spot process. The sports activities conducted in loyola is pretty good, various colleges compete.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
