Likes
- The college is in the middle of the city and you'll get to see a number of temples lined up once you step outside the college. A huge number of resturant chains are right infront of the college and various stationary shops are at a walking distance.
- There is a big playground right infront of our science building and the college is surrounded with trees.
Dislikes
- It is one of the oldest college in the city so the building needs maintanence.
- More social and cultural activities should be included. I understand that there is a shortage of fund which is essential to organise these kind of activities as it is prohibited to collect money from the students.
Remarks :
It is the most affordable college for girls in Tripura. There are no tuition fees and only examination fees are to be given to the Tripura University to conduct the exams. The admission is purely based on the merit list based on your class 12th percentage and CUET scores from now on.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course syllabus is based on the UGC guidelines, now the NEP guidelines are implemented. Practicals are completed on time. The faculty of the Physics department is immensely helpful however there is a shortage of permanent recruitment for Govt. Professors in the college so several classes are conducted by the appointed guest lecturers. As no amount of money is allowed to be collected from the students by the college, the frequency of the fest is very minimal. However, departmental fests are organised once a year. Various scholarships are available, I availed the Ishan Uday scholarship for northeaster students and it helped me a lot.
Internships Opportunities :
I have applied for some internships during my college years through various internship portals and completed two of them, one as a writer and editor in a Govt. Project and the other one I'm still doing as a transcription intern at a company named Blacksof.
Placement Experience :
There is a drawback of not having enough placement and internship opportunities provided by the college. However, the teachers guide and prepare us to face any interview in future. After graduating from this college we can apply for any eligible competitive exams that we want.
Campus Life :
The hostel of our college is the only Tripura government college hostel in the state. The best part of this hostel is that it's completely free, not a single penny is charged for living in this hostel or for the food provided. However, the students need to cook their food but the ingredients will be provided by the college for free. There is no social club as such. The student council and NSS exist.

Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too

The eligibility criteria for good placement is you have to score more than 7.5 cgpa, the visited recruiters are high, the highest package offered is 15 lpa, and average package is 5 lpa, the percentage of students getting placed in this course is 95%, my plans after getting the degree is to become a judge

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.

Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now

In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.

Internship is not so good but the placement here is very much satisfying It is worth joining this college if your are looking for placement even in low range jee main score around 91 to 98 You get to improve yourself with the help of seniors and friends
