The course syllabus is based on the UGC guidelines, now the NEP guidelines are implemented. Practicals are completed on time. The faculty of the Physics department is immensely helpful however there is a shortage of permanent recruitment for Govt. Professors in the college so several classes are conducted by the appointed guest lecturers. As no amount of money is allowed to be collected from the students by the college, the frequency of the fest is very minimal. However, departmental fests are organised once a year. Various scholarships are available, I availed the Ishan Uday scholarship for northeaster students and it helped me a lot.
