Likes
- Infrastructure is thw best thing there. The campus and the buildings look very luxurious and the campus is very green and clean.
- Placements are also pretty good here. A lot of companies come here for recruitment and almost every student gets an offer.
Dislikes
- Faculty can be much better. And they can improve the way the things are being taught.
- Improvements are also needed in an annual fest by including much more fun events and pro nights.
Remarks :
The major factor was my university being an all-girls University. So, my parents preferred this one over others in terms of safety. And the other reason was that I was getting a scholarship here based on my grade 12 marks. The placements at the university are also good. Also, it was situated closer to my hometown than the other universities I applied for. These factors made me enroll at Mody University. One of the bad aspects is that the university is situated in a remote town which isn't much developed. Faculty could be much better too. They conduct an entrance test for admission. Students can also apply for courses based on their 12th marks. I took the entrance test and my 12th marks were also above the cut-off to opt for the desired course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was pretty good. They covered all the necessary subjects and topics. But the way they were taught can be improved. They also need better faculty at least for my course. There used to be 2 exams per semester and the difficulty level was moderate. As I've mentioned above, tuition fees are around Rs. 8,50,000. And accommodation would cost over 9 lakhs. The provision of scholarships was pretty good here. Students can get scholarships based on their 12th marks and JEE rank.
Internships Opportunities :
I did a summer internship after my 3rd year for 2 months. Some companies come for internship opportunities for both summer internships after 3rd year and 6-month internships in the final year such as Visa, Barclays, etc with stipends over 50k per month.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria were over 6 or 7 GPAs in academics and without any active backlog. The recruiters included Visa, Myntra, Walmart, and Barclays among many more. The highest package offered was my visa which was 32lpa. The average package was around 7 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is over 95% and even 100% at times. I got a placement too and I'm expecting to join the company in a few months.
Campus Life :
Life at the campus was decent. They need to improve the annual fest though. The fest that happens annually is FDC and is organized by the university every year in January. There are technical fests conducted by the technical societies of the university, namely droid. There are books for all the subjects and we can get them issued pretty easily. Students can play hockey, football, tennis, badminton, cricket, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, horse riding, and more. Extracurricular activities include dancing, singing, acting, modeling, drawing, English clubs, Hindi clubs, public speaking clubs, and many more. The major extracurricular activities club is called Anahata. The hostel is pretty expensive here. And the mess is pure vegetarian (without onion and garlic). I found the food okay. But there were a lot of items on the menu and the quality was pretty good. There were a lot of pgs available just opposite the university which are much more affordable.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.

As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
