- The academy looks pretty decent from outside better than some government flying schools in India
- Hostel facility is inside the campus. You just stay beside the runway. Once the flying is done you can comeback to room instantly and get freshen up.
Dislikes
- Planning and management of the institute is not at par.
- Food at Chimes is below average and unhygienic at times.
Remarks :
I referred to youtube videos. I saw several channels talking about Chimes Aviation Academy's infrastructure, fleet and good instructors at that point of time. For admission they conduct one written test(basics of maths and physics), interview followed by ADAPT test(basically multi tasking skills test). For that they charge around INR 10,000 now. Study the basics of class 10 and 12 physics and maths and also basic aerodynamics.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In this field of pilot training in India, the curriculum is set by Directorate General of Civil Aviation that is DGCA, like any other flying school in India Chimes also follows the same thing. You learn about the ground theory subjects first then you go for your flying lessons. The instructors are quite patient and teach well. To speak about the fee structure here there are several hidden costs. You'll be charged for several miscellaneous things like uniform, some flight instruments and about fee hike, you should keep in mind that whatever you are quoted during admission the fee will increase by around 2 to 3Lakhs during your final settlement after completion.
Internships Opportunities :
In aviation specially in pilot training there's no internship opportunity atleast in India. You'll have to wait for any commercial airline vacancy or you may opt to become an instructor in any of the listed flying schools in India.
Placement Experience :
In flying schools usually direct placements don't happen. You've to apply once any airline comes up with vacancies. Nowadays as aviation market in India is booming any fresh CPL holder who's knowledgeable and disciplined usually gets a job within 6 to 8months from completion. The starting salary being 2.35L per month.
Campus Life :
The hostel facilities in the campus is good considering it's just beside the runway. But the rooms are below average. The food is also not good and pretty unhygienic. There's no student club over here. The library provides books to only IndiGo cadets. And the students aren't allowed to rent a PG outside where you'll get far better room and food at much cheaper rate. You'll be charged INR 24,000 per month for hostel.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
