- the college is surrounded by greenery offering a peacefull learning atmosphere and the faculty is always redy to help us
- a vast library of resources are available in the form of a library as well as online forums where any of our doubts can be easily cleared
Dislikes
- something to dislike is the very restrictive timing for students in the hostel
- the number of holidays given by the college is also very low therefore students whose homes are far away have a difficult time returning home
Remarks :
al shifa college of pharmacy is the premier institute of learning when it comes to the field of pharmacy. they are internationally recognized and have tie ups with major universities in various foreign countries.the admission process is pretty simple you make an appointment with the admission officer meet and discuss the course its fees and other details and proceed to book a seat. there are ofcourse competitive exams such as KEAM that gives you merit seats based on marks where all your fees are covered
Course Curriculum Overview :
the course of pharm d that i have chosen is a course that has a good scope in the future.it already has seen a rise in demand in foreign countries and can be expected in india as well. the curriculum of the course is very practical oriented with hands on hospital experience from the 2nd year onwards. The faculty present are among the top few in their field with several of them having published research papers that have been widely accepted by the international scientific community the faculty is very open to students at any time and they are very good at interacting with the students and teaching the curriculum in an interesting manner. The fees is manageable for most middle-class families and f not various government scholarships can be availed through the college itself
Internships Opportunities :
for the PharmD course a mandatory internship is there in the 6thyear which can be done at al shifa hospital itself. this internship offers the student a more job oriented experience the bpharm course also offers 1 month for student in the last semester to gain industrial exposure
Placement Experience :
the campus has its own placement cell that have tie-ups with various pharmaceutical industries that are the leaders in their field every year a campus placement drive is organized where the students of the final year get to showcase their skill and knowledge to the recruiter's most of the students get a good offer with a good starting package of7-15 lakhs
Campus Life :
the campus life is very active with various programmes scheduled throught the year as well as celebrating many festivals such as onam chirstmas etc.. the college also offer various clubs oriented towards community services such as NSS an red cross. the campus also organizes industrial visits and other activities for all students of all years. the campus provides various facilities such as a vast library both electronic and physical with works of famous scientific author's as well as smart classrooms equipped with projectors and smart boards. the hostel facilities are also good with clean non crowded rooms and a good mess that provides both veg and non-veg options the hostel is present in the campus grounds itself

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
