A review on whether to join Patna Women's College or not

- The college campus infrastructure is much better than the other colleges of Patna University.
- Faculties and facilities here are much better. Clean washrooms, safe drinking water etc.
Dislikes
- The college has a big library but many of the books are outdated.
- Usage of smartphones inside the college campus is strictly prohibited which leads to many problems.
Remarks :
If you are planning to go for higher studies in Patna and you are a female student then Patna Women's College is the best option out there. Now since the college has got NAAC A++grading choosing the college would be a good option.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I was a student in the commerce stream I wanted to go for higher studies in commerce background only so I opted for BCOM HONS. The faculty members are good and highly experienced, they help you whenever needed. Exams are conducted every semester and the level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
I worked as an intern at CARE HEALTH INSURANCE for my add-on course requirements. My role was as a junior intern who used to record the data. My stipend was zero as we only had to go there for experience and exposure to the insurance company environment.
Placement Experience :
Many companies visit the college campus for campus recruitment. Some of the companies are TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES, UJJIVAN BANK, and many more. Students apply for the interview of these companies and are selected further.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the college is best and very well maintained as compared to the other colleges of Patna University. The college has different types of clubs such as the Environmental SRISHTI CLUB, Electoral Literacy Club, etc. The extracurricular activities available on campus are badminton, basketball cricket, and taekwondo.

Placement Experience :
The college has a dedicated Placement Cell that provides students with placement preparation and guidance. Students become eligible for placement opportunities after completing the required semesters and participating in the recruitment process. Around 80-85% of students from my BCA batch were placed. Recruiters during my time included TCS, ICICI Bank and Deloitte. Deloitte also communicated with the College, and some aptitude and interview rounds were conducted virtually. I was personally selected by TCS and received my offers made by each company available to me. The College conducts separate placement preparation after the 4th semester, covering aptitude, communication, problem-solving, resume building company and are mainly related to IT, technical and corporate profiles. After completing my BCA degree my plan is to join the company where I have received my offer and start my professional career in IT sector. Average Package was INR 3.2Lakh and highest was around INR 5 Lakh.

In my clg placemant offer upon your grades or good internship like teir one or teir 2 but most of the olacement are joined by your self and there is nothing to say. If u have good internship, so u defenetely for clg oalcement.

Almost 50 to 60 percent students got placed up to their final examination and their average package is 4.5 LPA. The college offers internships also.some internships are paid and some are unpaid of them.

Placement Experience :
Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview :
faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

In BCA department placement are very good for students . Many companies like TCS , mahindra , wipro , and many local companies come in our campus for placement cell for students . Average package is around 4 lacs and maximum package is around 10 lacs in BCA department.

The placement of collage is good as compare to other private collage in Bihar. The year student will appear for placement and sit. So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
