Remarks :
This college is one of the most reputed and oldest institutions in South India. It has a vast Alumni network. A lot of Students who've graduated from this college work fo reputed Companies and Government Institutions like ISRO, etc. Students are selected based on their rank published by CEE kerala. The rank is decided by the student's score in the KEAM exam and their 12th exam percentage.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science because of my interest in the field. The faculty is very experienced. They conduct numerous lab sessions to make the students industry-ready. Non-Keralite students may face difficulties in understanding as the professors might explain a few topics in Malayalam. But, the professors try their best to teach in English. The exams are usually conducted on time. The semesters are usually 5-6 months long. The term exams are conducted after the semester ends. Study leaves are provided before term exams. The fees of the college are really low when compared to other colleges in Kerala. Students facing financial difficulties are allowed to avail scholarships.
Placement Experience :
The students should have a minimum CGPA above 7 and all papers should be cleared when appearing for an interview. A few of the companies that visited the college are CRED, Air India, Amazon, Texas Instruments, Tiger Analytics, Infosys, etc. The highest package offered are in the range of 5- 35 lakhs per annum. The average package is around 10 - 12 lakhs per annum. Usually the percentage of Students placed is above 85 %.
Campus Life :
The campus life in this college is very vibrant. A lot of fests are conducted by the college like Dhrishti which was conducted in April, Disha in December and January, etc. The Main library of the college which is near to the main building and mechanical department has a big collection of books. Every department has its library which contains books in that field. The college has a football ground and a basketball and volleyball court. Equipments for other sports like badminton, table tennis, etc are also provided. The college has won many competitions in different sports like basketball, volleyball, etc. There are a lot of clubs that are run by students like aeroCET which is for students interested in making drones, Google Developer Student Club and Tinkerhub for students interested in software, etc. The college hostel is situated very near to the campus. The food is good and cleanliness is maintained by the staff of the hostel. A lot of PG's are available near the campus

Placement Experience :
Not yet attempted for placements, but so far the placements in previous years where quite good. Lots of MNCs , core industries etc picks students from the campus. I think more than half of last year's passouts were placed in campus drives.

Placement and job opportunities were higher and after the completion of course we can get job at Malabar cancer itself and the placement were done by campus interview and the student can participate and get the job

There are currently no placement cell in this college which is pretty disappointing for a college as old as 150 years that too with elite alumnis. There have been planning for proper placement cell but as of now there is nothing

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
