The college is the top-most-ranked college in the state in the NIRF ranking. Also, the college is said to have the most exposure for a dental student as compared to other government dental colleges. Thiruvananthapuram as a city also gives you the whole experience of opportunities. The admission is based on the NEET UG rankings conducted by the NTA.
I chose this course partly because I wanted to work in the medical field and partly because my NEET ranks were suitable for dental courses only. But the slightest regret I had while choosing the course has now disappeared as now I know the wide opportunities and healthy work-life of being a dentist. The faculty are the top professionals you can find in the state with years of experience. The university conducts exams yearly and the college conducts sessional exams every two to three months. Several scholarships are made available to the student based on their income levels, marks, or caste.
The college provides a stipend of 25000 in the year of internship. Also in the course of doing your PG, the stipend is much higher nearly 70000 which is pretty much better compared to those in private dental colleges.
Campus placements are not provided, but I'm sure the name that you passed out from Government Dental College Trivandrum is fair enough to get you a good impression. I'll go for doing NEET PG and then maybe move abroad or get into a government hospital or college.
The college has well-developed clinics and pre-clinical labs. Despite the tiring schedule, the college gives importance to arts and sports programs. Every year fests and sports meets are conducted. Various clubs under the initiative of the students union indulge students in different day-to-day activities and make them better citizens.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
