- College life is somewhat up and down but I got good friends and I'm continuing my learning better
Dislikes
- The major dislike is you can't go out on your wish.. you need to apply outpass then your parents need to approve then the warden then only you are allowed
- Sometimes hostel food is boring with usual sambar and puppet

Hello Guys, currently I'm doing my second year of BDS at Adhiparasakthi Dental College and Hospital at Melmaruvathur. I joined this college in govt quota in the year 2022 by clearing neet. I scored 432 marks in the neet. The recent minimum cut-off was around 150 to 250 including all categories. To tell you about the college it was quite good, I heard a lot of opinions before joining but after admission I never regret. The campus atmosphere is quite good reflecting our south village side. The transport facility is quite good. The train and bus facilities are near. It takes 1.5 hrs to Chennai by train. This region is more religious. So some feel uneasy and the network is a little poor here but still, the management provides free wifi. Education is very good with all the improved tech and advancement. The college takes you to college conferences. The staffs were so talented and the learning was quite unstoppable. I got my fee as 4,95,000 including my hostel fee of 1,30,000.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course just to be part of medicine but afterwards, I developed an interest in it. Now I'm preparing for my ICMR research. The faculties are well experienced and trained they all were postgraduates with working experience of min 5 years. Some of them own their clinics too. The teaching is good. They are very friendly and free to clear any topics. There will be 3 terminal( internals ) exams once in 3 months before you appear for the university exam. The curriculum will be 4 years of courses and 1 year of internship. The curriculum includes medical subjects too. Medical classes will be taken at Adhiparasakthi Medical College nearer. students of SC/st categories and 7.5 quotas are receiving scholarships every year. 7.50 quota(govt schl students) are free from any fees. The university exam will be conducted by Dr MGR University once a year.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college provides free I with amonthly stipend of 2K and PGs get more.. during this time there is no college fee for you. there will be so many cases in all departments and good learning. You will be circulated in every department for 1-month rotation. you can do an internship in other colleges too but you have to pay fees.
Placement Experience :
Placement is not provided in college after the graduation degree you can join as a assistant in clinics but it doesn't earn you much average salary will be 20 to 25 K for BDS if you have done MDS the minimum salary will be 40 to 60 K. I have planned to clear Neet PG and start doing my PG. If you are capable of owning a clinic then you can earn more. You can afford fellowship courses after your degree. Nowadays BDS is quite competitive but still, the opportunities are high you can get a job in the army corps and in railways too.
Campus Life :
The campus is pleasant. Im affording a hostel right now. The food is cultivated naturally in Melmaruvathur. We have a veg and non-veg menu. Non-veg will be provided 3 to 4 times a week. The menu is quite compromising including biryani, fried rice, non-veg meals, parotta, chapati etc... overall hostel fee is 1,30,200. AC rooms are also available costs 1,75,000. About sports the college always supports you. There is volleyball, throw ball, basketball, badminton courts and cricket nets for sports. Now they are building football turf and kho kho posts. There is no space for a cricket ground if there is a conference upcoming they'll be allowed to practice in a nearby Matriculation school with a cricket ground and tracks. There a specific gyms for boys and girls separately. The gym fee is 1000 per year. It has all the equipment with separate training faculties for boys and girls. The college library is available till 5.30 daily it has all the necessary books and articles for the course. The computer is also available

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
