Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course just to be part of medicine but afterwards, I developed an interest in it. Now I'm preparing for my ICMR research. The faculties are well experienced and trained they all were postgraduates with working experience of min 5 years. Some of them own their clinics too. The teaching is good. They are very friendly and free to clear any topics. There will be 3 terminal( internals ) exams once in 3 months before you appear for the university exam. The curriculum will be 4 years of courses and 1 year of internship. The curriculum includes medical subjects too. Medical classes will be taken at Adhiparasakthi Medical College nearer. students of SC/st categories and 7.5 quotas are receiving scholarships every year. 7.50 quota(govt schl students) are free from any fees. The university exam will be conducted by Dr MGR University once a year.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not provided in college after the graduation degree you can join as a assistant in clinics but it doesn't earn you much average salary will be 20 to 25 K for BDS if you have done MDS the minimum salary will be 40 to 60 K. I have planned to clear Neet PG and start doing my PG. If you are capable of owning a clinic then you can earn more. You can afford fellowship courses after your degree. Nowadays BDS is quite competitive but still, the opportunities are high you can get a job in the army corps and in railways too.
