I completed my UG and am still studying for PG in the same college. It’s a very good college under the University of Kerala. The college provided BBA, B.Com, MBA, and MTTM courses with specifications for Travel and Tourism. The college comes under the Department Of Tourism of The government. The campus is housed in a fascinating palace in a five-acre lush green campus in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital district of Kerala. After completing my UG, I got into the same college for my PG, and to get admission the candidate should have passed the K-Mat entrance exams conducted by Kerala. Then there are group discussions and our scores in UG are also checked. Positives of the college are: it's a campus with lush greenery with nature-centric vibes, includes girls' hostels, and with every day to day necessities available near the campus. Negatives of the campus: as it is located in the center of the city there are traffic problems, and never-ending road construction happening now and then.
Campus provides better placements in mostly tourism sector and also in international airports. The campus also provides diploma courses in logistics. Faculties are also experienced and trained professionals and are very helpful. Scholarships and financial assistance are also available in the college.
No, my internship program hasn’t started. But according to the seniors, they have done their internships mostly in tourism-related industries and companies like Thomas Cook and also the international airport.
The campus has one of the best libraries in the city. The vibes and social life in the college are also splendid. The college union conducts various programs every month according to the special days and management fests. Sports events are also conducted like basketball, football, badminton and also carroms. Students can also participate in university sports meetings.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
