- Have operating lift, supportive faculties, good teaching.
- Away from city, which is very peaceful. Free college bus for first year. Good canteen food.
Dislikes
- No proper play ground, less students, not easily accessible.
- Less activities like sports and arts which leads to boring.
Remarks :
I joined MES College of engineering and Technology Ernakulam through an entrance exam conducted by the state of Kerala called KEAM. MES is a large educational community in India. The college was selected on that basis. They offer Btech courses in Computer science, Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, and AI. I have completed my first year in this college. And the overall experience is moderate. Education-wise, they have good faculties and support from them. But college life is bad in my opinion. There are a total of 500 or below here including all branches and all semesters. Extracurricular activities are very bad. No sports, arts, etc. Apart from that, the college is moderate.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This college is under KALAM TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY. Btech have 8 semesters. Each semester has a 1-semester exam and has 2 internal exams. Internal exam marks are calculated and added to the end-semester mark. To finish the course, you should have 100 activity points collected from activities like sports, arts, internships, courses, etc. All courses have respective subjects. Faculties are all experienced and very supportive in my experience. In my case, I joined here with a TFW scholarship. So I don't have to pay any tuition fees. The college also offers different types of scholarships and financial support. Fees are different for all branches and all students. But the average fee for a sem is 25000- 30000. It can be more or less.
Campus Life :
There are lots of classrooms. Canteen, Computer lab, workshops, lift provided in college. But access to the college from the main highway is very difficult. The college conducts freshers day, onam celebration, Christmas celebration, ethnic day, arts day, sports day, etc. There is also a big library in the college. Projectors are not so fondly available in classrooms. Girls hostel is situated inside the campus. The boys' hostel is also situated inside 1 km. 4 different college buses with different routes are also available which are free for first-year students. Sports day is conducted but not so promoted. There is no proper playground. Volleyball and basketball courts are available. An air-conditioned room is also available for seminars and programs. There are different student clubs like Google Development Club, Game Development, IEDC, IEEE, etc. The hostel is also good with the proper warden and good food. For renting a PG or hostel, it's a village area. It can be hard to find a proper accommodation.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
