- The major plus points of our college is the staffs,their dedication towards teaching, highly optimized labs and workshops with newest technology, vast college campus, canteen, and many other things too. Almost all our faculties hold mteck as their basic degree and many others have PhD as well. The infrastructure is really big as there is separate blocks for each department of our college. Also our college is located at the center part of tvm also, so transportation is easy. Also no ragging is allowed in our college.
- Another major plus point of our college is the placement cell. Almost all the students who pass out from our college with min 6.5 cgpa is assured with job. Our college has tieups with many major companies located at tvm info park, so our job is to pass in all exams with 6.5+ cgpa and also do internships and acquire any skills which is useful in our work life.
Dislikes
- One of the major dislikes of our college is that the exam valuation would be really tough. So to get pass mark(ie, 40 out of 100) you have to do well. Even if our college is autonomous,, the valuation will be really strict. Also submission of assignment must be on date, if deadline is over then the marks will be for sure cutoff.
- Some faculties in our college are not so friendly. Also for me academics is given way more importance in our college. Sports items and other festivals are less compared to other colleges.
Remarks :
So basically there is an exam called KEAM which you have to write to be a part of the engineering colleges in kerala. The cutoff rank to get into MBCET b-tech CSE batch in 2022 was 11,300. In the next year it went up to 11,900.After the 12th exams are over try to study for KEAM in next two months before the exam if you want to do engineering in Kerala or you can study it along with 11th and 12th.Our college has a friendly atmosphere with good faculties and supporting seniors. Although I initially didn't love it, later on I fall for it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I am studying is B-tech in cse. The annual cost is around 87k but my tuition fee of 75k is cut down by a scholarship named fee waiver. 6 of our students get this scholarship. Also, other students are provided with scholarships in our college. I chose this course because my dream was to be a software developer. The curriculum for this course is excellent with highly optimized labs and well-trained faculties. In around 4.5 months a sem is finished here. As our college is autonomous, it does not follow the KTUS timetable.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done an internship with msquare and ICT. I have applied for internships at IBM and Nissan Digital too. Currently, I am a third-year student and at the end of sem 6, our paid internships start, and our college placement cell will look after it.
Placement Experience :
Last year 327 students from our college were placed with an average CTC of 4.4 lakh. U can view it on our official page on Instagram. Major companies that come for placements are signified, cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HR global, sib, Federal Bank, Tata Elxsi, Accenture etc. The highest package our college got last year was 12lakhs.
Campus Life :
The biggest fest our college is conducting every year is the crossroads. It's a three-day event with music, food, games etc. Big celebrities are present for this event. Also, GDSC, IEEE, ICT and other community groups are present in our college. NSS units are also a part of our college. I am a part of the college hostel too and the food served here is nice compared to other hostels nearby. The one problem is that the room rent is a little bit high. The hostel registration can be done, on the same day when you have been admitted to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
