I have been admitted to this college through the team exam. For the team exam student must have at least a rank above 40k.I came to know that this is the 1st college which has started btech food technology course in kerela. This college started this course in 2002. And I came to know that this is the best College for food technology. In the case of placement, most of the food technology students get placed in reputed companies like Infosys, Nestle, Lazze icecreams, etc...I chose this college after discussing it with the seniors. They all have very good implications for this college. The 1st ranking from ktu for btech food technology is secured by tkmit at all years.
Btech food technology is very easy to study compared to other btech branches. It mainly includes theory. TKM has the best faculties with experience . They teach us very well. Now the college is facing shortage of faculties as many of them had left the college for taking pg. There are a lot of scholarships that we can apply. But it is difficult to get. The tuition fees are higher compared to other branches. we have 75000 and an extra 10000 will be asked for further expenses.
Actually, I am a 2nd year student. I have not attended any internship yet. But up to my information, I came to know that we have good internships. For food technology we have internships from lazza company and it gives our seniors a good experience. They have studied a lot from that internship. They learned how to preserve foods, their maintenance, and food packaging.
The eligibility criteria for placement is the student must not have any supply. The student must have a good cgpa. For the food technology department good placements are offered from premium companies like Infosys, Nestle, lazza etc..we will only get a salary of 20k first but years after we will get high payment due to our experience. An average of 70 percent of students get placed in our department. My plan is to get job in abroad as food technology has high scope in abroad and to settle there.
Campus life is boring in this college. The main aim is to score good marks and get placed. we only have one program named reglia conducted for 2 days. It is very nice. celebrities are all invited. we have a lot of clubs that help us to improve our skills like a robotics club, food club, music club, dance club, etc...Our college also supports sports. we can stay back in college for practice. and we got many prize. They also provide the best hostel facility with good food, study ambiance, etc...they have appointed teachers from our campus to look after students.
Not yet attempted for placements, but so far the placements in previous years where quite good. Lots of MNCs , core industries etc picks students from the campus. I think more than half of last year's passouts were placed in campus drives.
Placement and job opportunities were higher and after the completion of course we can get job at Malabar cancer itself and the placement were done by campus interview and the student can participate and get the job
There are currently no placement cell in this college which is pretty disappointing for a college as old as 150 years that too with elite alumnis. There have been planning for proper placement cell but as of now there is nothing
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
2 or 3 job fairs will happen per year all major companies will arrive good placements recruitment is based in interview and other activities you involved in college a good grade Is required people's from outside the college can participate in this job fairs
