- The best thing about the college is people you meet and the things they teach. The college has some of the best professors and doctors so you will have enough resources to grow.
- The hospital have high footfall of patients, thus you will get to know and learn every kind of cases that is required or more than that. The college is located in the heart of the city so you get to enjoy the major city life thing.
Dislikes
- The campus being under construction makes it a little messy
- The campus needed a little upgradation which it is going under.
Remarks :
Patna Medical College and Hospital is the top medical college in my state. It is also among the oldest And most prestigious medical colleges of India. Being the topmost college it attracts top crema players of students from all over India. The cut-off for gen through all India quota in 2023 was a.i.r 3500 and through state quota was a.i.r 5300. The next exam is the basis of admissions. The physical counseling And paper verification area bit tedious but worth it. One should carry all proper and original documents when going for physical verifications. The staffs are supportive but strict regarding paper verifications.
Course Curriculum Overview :
MBBS being a vast and demanding su eject requires dedications nd perseverance. The faculties are very well qualified and have themselves passed from top medical colleges of India. They teach very actively in class and you will understand the teaching if you pay attention. All the faculties are very open and will clear all your doubts. They are very approachable. Because most of them are practicing doctors, so some of their classes go really Interesting. The fees is 30000 a year including hostel charges. The mess fees is 4k to 5k a month. No scholarships are provided by the college. The R.O.I is pretty good if one utilizes the opportunities genuinely.
Placement Experience :
The MBBS course itself includes a one year compulsory internship. It is a very fulfilling time as you get to learn a lot. The hospital being the most oldest and reputed witnesses a vey high footfall and thus providing ample opportunities to learn and grow. Everyone would be ready to teach If you are interested. The monthly stipend is 20000 as of now during the internship.
Campus Life :
As the college is undergoing major development , so as of now no ground is there. Because of construction it is a little messy but construction will be completed in a short time. There are two major events that are celebrated in our college. One is saraswati puja along with CFD that is colleg foundation day and other is our annual fest. All types of sports and cultural activities take place and it's all fun. Senior are helpful and supportive and they encourage to participate and enjoy. Hostels are undergoing constructions and would be ready by next year. The mess food is good and pretty affordable.

Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

In BCA department placement are very good for students . Many companies like TCS , mahindra , wipro , and many local companies come in our campus for placement cell for students . Average package is around 4 lacs and maximum package is around 10 lacs in BCA department.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified,most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months.And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.

So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
