I chose this college because it is closer to my house and is a government college which is cheaper than private colleges. We need to write an entrance examination called the National eligibility cum entrance test. There is no interview and all. Study well and get qualified for this exam. To prepare for the entrance examination, you can use online apps and coaching sites or enrol in a coaching centre. This college will provide you with every opportunity to increase your knowledge and skills. The downside is there is no proper building or hostel. Our new college has not yet completed construction because the government is not providing funds. Hostel for men is available but for women, you will only get it during your second year. So as a first-year student, you have to stay in private hostels.
I chose this course because my mark wasn't enough for mbbs seat in a government college and I wanted to become a doctor so I settled with BDS. The teaching methods and staff are very good and well qualified. Since this is a government college we have very good patient exposure and will help you raise your skills. We have three internal exams a year and one annual exam along with practical exams. The difficulty level is medium. Fees will be fixed and you have to pay the same amount each year. The amount of money at the time of your first year will be repeated. This money is different for different batches. Scholarships like merit cum mean and e-grants are available. Scholarships for military students are available. Students belonging to SC / ST / OEC students have no fees.
There is a compulsory one-year internship after completing studies. There are no companies and no offers as this is not an engineering field but a medical health care field. On this one-year compulsory internship, you will get a stipend provided by the government.
There is no campus placement. After completing the study there is a year compulsory internship where you will get twenty-seven thousand, three hundred as a stipend. After the degree, you can either work or pursue a higher degree. The highest money you get is thirty thousand per month and the lowest is ten thousand per month. If you pursue a higher degree you will get fifty thousand as a stipend and after that more than one lakh.
Campus life, I would say is average. There are many clubs like book clubs, dance clubs, cycle clubs, social service clubs, movie clubs, music bands etc. If you take the initiative you can start your club. There is no right time for the programme, it is decided by the college union based on the exam timetable of students of each batch. There is a library in the government Dental College of Engineering with all types of books you need including novels for leisure time. We also have an electronic library where students can use computers for the preparation of presentations. Three major events are in our college. First is Arts, where students from all batches compete in many extracurricular activities. There are both on-stage and off-stage programs. Second is a sports meet called Renaberi where students from all dental colleges meet. The third one is an ID called Inter Dentals. There are many competitions where whole health University students like from MBBS,bds, homeo, ayurveda, nursing, and veterinary all compete together.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
