Tt is easy for the students to commute and it is also connected directly to the highway. Especially the girl's hostel lies within the campus premises so safety is given 24/7. The boy's hostel is also within 3-4 km from the campus and all the basic facilities are provided. Talking about the mess and canteen the food is good and the hygiene level is also maintained. The admission process is easy and there are volunteers to guide the students all the details about the program are easily available on Silver Oak University's website.
Course Curriculum Overview :
B.TECH(CSE) is a course which is very useful in the market plus this course gives me good exposure to the field of technology. The student-faculty ratio is 80:3. Qualification of teachers is really high and they pursue good and very deep knowledge about the subject they are teaching. The faculty focuses more on delivering practical based knowledge rather than delivering the theoretical part. Exams are conducted on a semester basis and the paper is set to be a bit hard just to check the knowledge of the student and make them ready for the market.
Internships Opportunities :
yes, currently I m working as an intern and I m getting a stipend of 10000, which is a decent amount for me. Some of the companies providing paid internships are BJYUS, HCL, IBM, PACIFIC GROUP OF COMPANIES and more.
Placement Experience :
5% of students are getting placed every year in good and well-reputed companies with decent packages. Packages starting from 3LPA to 9LPA the candidate is getting paid according to the knowledge and skills they have. From the 6th semester onwards the students are getting trained for getting placement in the training and development cell.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for B.TECH courses is 78000 per year. A student who belongs to the reserved category can avail of the benefits of a Free-ship card. Financial assistance is also provided, the students whose financial condition is not good they can pay the fees through EMI which gives them relief. Talking about campus jobs, the best and well-known companies visit for campus placement and students are also given training before it. Students are also asked to do internships so they can learn gradually and they are also getting stipends starting from 4000 to 9000.
Campus Life :
The campus life at Silver Oak is very awesome. Talking about infrastructure it is really spacious. Tech events are conducted every month. The main fest is JUNOON which is held every year for 3 days where students showcase their different talents and the other is RASS RASIYA which is basically the Navratri festival.
Interview Experience :
As such, for taking admission to B.TECH courses they don't conduct exams. All they need is that the student must have scored above 45% on their HSC board. If the student is eligible then they can easily confirm their admission.
