Remarks :
Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering is among the 6 new colleges developed by the Govt. of Bihar and running under the Department of Science and Technology, Bihar. The main reason why I chose this college is because of the location and reputation of the college. This college is situated at a distance of 45 km from the capital city of Patna. To be admitted to this college candidate must pass 12th appear in the JEE MAINS examination conducted by NTA and participate in UGEAC counselling. The college is allocated according to the UGEAC rank. There is no need to appear in any other written examination, GD or interviews.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason to choose EEE is because of Diverse career opportunities in the field of hardware technologies. The faculties of BCE PATNA are well-qualified and educated. Most of them are Masters or Doctorate holders. There are overall 8 semesters in the entire course of 4 years each of 6 months and exams are to be conducted regularly. As this college is a government college so there are no tuition fees. However, you have to pay about 10,000 INR per year for registration and examination fees. Here students can also get scholarships through various government schemes like PMS, and NSP. Here students can also get the benefits of a Bihar Student Credit Card (Student Loan).
Internships Opportunities :
The college also provides opportunities for internships for students. However, this is not a paid internship but you can gain some knowledge and experience from this. Internships available for students are in companies like Salesforce, NTPC, Irctc etc.
Placement Experience :
The students who are in 3rd semester can sit in pre-placement talks and even in the placement round. Many companies visit the college for giving placement opportunities for students like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Okaya etc. The average package is 4LPA and the highest is around 10LPA. Mostly 70% of students get placed in these colleges and some go for higher education.
Campus Life :
The popular Techfest of BCE PATNA is YANTRIKSHA. It is organized by the Robotics Club in September. There are a lot of books and magazines available in the library of college and students can also study in the library. However, currently campus is not so big but is under construction and will be ready very soon so that students can play sports. Many clubs are running in this college like Robotics club, Coding club, Sports club, Drama club, Social club etc. There are 3 boys and 1 girl's hostel on this campus. Anyone who wants to stay in the hostel has to register during admission or even after. The fee of the hostel is 60,000 INR per year including the mess. The quality of the food is good.

Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

In BCA department placement are very good for students . Many companies like TCS , mahindra , wipro , and many local companies come in our campus for placement cell for students . Average package is around 4 lacs and maximum package is around 10 lacs in BCA department.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified,most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months.And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.

The placement of collage is good as compare to other private collage in Bihar. The year student will appear for placement and sit. So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
