Remarks :
I wanted to be a mechanical engineer. So I prepared for the KEAM exam. The exam was important because if we got a rank below 3000, then only we get admission to the top 3 engineering colleges in Kerala. That year I got the rank 2083. without any doubt, I choose mechanical engineering at the government engineering college in Thrissur. The college is located in the heart of Thrissur city. My brother also studied at the same college so I knew about college earlier. The faculty members are very supportive and talented. College helps students with their academics and also other activities. The seniors are also very friendly and the overall atmosphere is very comfortable.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose mechanical engineering. Because I liked it. The faculties are very supportive and talented in the mechanical engineering department. we have 8semester in 4years. Every semester we Have 2 internal exams and 1 main exam. Labs and workshops are also there for respective subjects. For every semester my tuition fee was 6000rs. It is approximately 9000rs but I have an E-Grants scholarship. So I need to only pay 6000rs.
Internships Opportunities :
I did my internship in SIFL, Athani, Thrissur. I have 1 week paid internship there. The company is for manufacturing Forgings. And also I did my internship at HMT, Kalamassery. it is 2week internship. They are manufacturing Lathe and CNC machines. It is a very important internship for us.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement are different for every company, some companies need more than an 8.5 cgpa, and some need no arrears. Etc. Usually for mechanical engineering MRF, Reliance, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, saint-gobin etc are the recruiting companies. Every year the number of openings varies. Almost 75% of students got placed in campus selection. I planed to go higher studies so not take the campus selection.
Campus Life :
Campus life is superb. It is undefinable because of the many memories I got from there. Lots of friends, seniors, juniors. I am a sports person, usually cricket. They support sports and cultural activities more. We have our fest named DYUTHI usually conducted in October or November month. There are a lot of clubs like sports clubs, arts clubs, and social groups like NSS, and Oasis.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is the main attraction of that college. The hostel atmosphere is very interesting. Rooms are very large, clean and have enough utilities also. Each room is for 2 students. In the first year hostel is provided based on the distance from the home. After that the cgpa. The messy food is unforgettable. Every day non-veg is available. Every week 2 days chicken, 1 day beef, 2-day fish, 2 days egg available and 1 day Sadhya also there. The food is very delicious.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
