I got a merit seat via CAP. Joined the college because it was the best in our area in terms of practical facilities, good infrastructure, and discipline. I did attend a small interview before the admission.
I chose BCA because my only goal was to get into a software field and btech was another option but don't want to learn anything that I didn't need. The faculty are all experienced and best when it comes to lecturing. They helped me with many academic problems. There are University exams after every semester and model exams in between. Talking about the course syllabus, it is outdated and hasn't taught me anything about working in an infrastructure. There are post-metric scholarships for eligible students.
No internship from college. For this reason, I had to do an internship at a private institution and I did a 2-month internship on Python web development in which I helped senior developers in both the backend and frontend development phases.
Some of my super seniors have been placed by none of my batch. There were no placement exams. No companies came. A student might get a job if he/she is skilled at the time of graduation. For this reason, many of my friends are doing add-on courses from institutes to get certification. I feel that I haven't got any infrastructural knowledge from this college as during the mini and main projects there was not even a boot camp for the students resulting in students buying projects for submission.
The campus is not that big but it's very neat and has facilities which a college should have. There are social clubs, college unions, and music clubs as well. The is an IT and Android lab that one can access at any time. A good library with books ranging from study materials to stories and novels. Some sports facilities support mainly soccer and basketball and have dedicated courts and playgrounds for both of them.
The canteen provides snacks and beverages. For accommodation, the college does not have its hostel but there are hostel and paying guest facilities nearby. I never used any of them as my home was only 5km away.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
