I gate mit dat exam which is a 3hrs based general aptitude and drawing test. After that, I had an interview round and a creative challenge round. My main reason for this college was the curriculum they have. I had a few people whom I knew, they studied in this college and on their recommendation I chose this college. When I got selected in the acceptance mail they mentioned that Ujjain was an ancient educational hub, and we want to bring back that status through our college. I was hooked by this mission.
Almost all the faculties are from the best design schools in India or abroad. Most of them are from IDC, IIT, NID, etc. Faculties are good I feel, they've helped me alot. We've end sem juries as our final exam, there are no written exams. 80% marks are based on the assignments given throughout the semester and 20% weightage is given to external validation. It depends on the external jury panel, how strict or how difficult the jury will be. And the internal 80% evaluation is quite strict. The composite fee is increased by around 6-7% every year. Overall if we leave the composite fees and hostel and mess charges aside, we've to pay for the stationary used in the assignments. But if it's a material-based assignment almost times we were given the material for free. Metal, thermocol, clay, and fabric were given for free. Wood was also given but in a smaller quantity. If you use the fab lab for assignments, that is also free up to a limit. For example, 3d printing is free up to 50grams.
The college offers internships in the 3rd year, that too after completion of your 3rd year. In the summer break after 3rd year, the student must do their internship in the industry. For at least 3 months. I'm currently in my second year. So I haven't opted for any internship.
The college does have a placements cell that provides internship placement. The average salary is 6 lpa currently, but before this year it was 8-9lpa. The highest package was 22lpa. The placement season is going on. So can't tell the exact percentage of students placed.
We do have Spardha which is a sports competition conducted every year during January end and Hues our cultural fest organized every February. Both are quite okay events. Infrastructure-wise they're expanding now, when I came in my first year it was good. Now they're making it better. We have an organization called iConnect which is a student-run organization in which the students contact industry professionals for a talk or interactive session in the college every Friday. Other than that no club is functional it just exists on the paper. The library is called Dyaneswar, it is filled with alot of books and journals, it even has the capstone thesis of our seniors. For sports we have, lawn tennis, cricket, basketball, volleyball, football, gym, and table tennis available on the campus, and the sports department holds a sports competition every year. No student life is available.
I've not opted for the hostel with mainly one reason being it's way too expensive. For those who can afford it, the hostel and mess are pretty good. I've friends who have opted for the hostel facilities and it is very good according to them. Hostel fees and mess fees also increase every year. For triple sharing, it's 1.75 lacs. I don't know about double sharing.
This course was the amazing combination of art and medical science you need to be perfect in both the things. Most amazing and adventurous field ever . Faculties of our college are highly qualified and well known dentists. There teaching method was also very unique and new we have yearly exam schedule for each years
normal placement but knowledge of teachers are good but at that time experience teachers are skip the college and new teachers are join which have not any high experience in teaching life which are freshers
We have a dedicated cell career development cell specially designed to help students for internships career guidance and special training based on their preferences they guide us and provide us the internship based on those preferences.
Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.
I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.
There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal
If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.
Yes , there is job opportunities in this college because too much companies are come with placement in this campus . Company are Come like a very well settled in It sector industries they give us opportunity to make carrier bright
MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
