- The Campus is Calm and is eco friendly. These Features provide a great atmosphere for learning new things.
- A treasury of new experiences. The students coming from different backgrounds band together for this journey.
Dislikes
- CEK does have a football Ground , Cricket Nets , Badminton as well as Volleyball Courts. But the maintainace could be better.
- Should have more college Buses for the students.
Remarks :
CEK or College of Engineering, Kallooppara is a great institution situated far away from the busy cities and high traffic. Located on the rural areas of Mallappally Taluk , all the while it enjoys regular bus services from KSRTC as well as the college Bus. The college outshines all other technical institutions in the district by ranking first is the Success Rate and is considered as the 15th best technical institution in the state. Students can apply through the state portal after attending the KEAM exams or avail NRI seats which would cost them much more money. Students applying throught the state portal will have State Merit seats (35,000 per annum) and Management Merit seats (65,000 per annum) , which will be allotted on the basis of Ranks of the students. The Students availing NRI seats(1,00,000 per annum) does not necessarily need to appear for the KEAM exams.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The need for Cyber Security is at an all time high. So this Course will be one of the most sought out in the near future. As the cyber world expands the need for professionals also increases. This course will provide the basics and introduce the students into the world of cyber crimes and other events. Students will be informed about cyber threats as well as mitigation and prevention techniques. The Series exams(Internal Exams) will be conducted twice per semester and one main exams along with the lab exams per semester. The Questions for the internal exams will be prepared by the in-house faculty while the questions for the main exams will be directly provided from the University. There is not much of a fee Hike policy as it is an aided institution. Many scholarships are available through the government portals.
Internships Opportunities :
I have attended a Cyber Security Internship organised by EC Council , at IIT Kanpur. It included practical as well as theory sessions which was conducted by some of the best professionals in the field. This proved very useful in expanding my domain and have increased my knowledge on the matter.
Placement Experience :
The College has a placement range of 70% . Companies such as Wipro , TCS , Infosys etc are on the line. Students are offered 3.5 L per annum packages on an average. Also the students are ecouraged to attend placement drives of other colleges. CEK provides placment guidances as well as has Mtech on Cyber Forensiscs.
Campus Life :
The campus is Eco-friendly and plastic free. College arts day comprising of events over a span of 3 days will be conducted on the even semester of every year along with the tech fest "DRISHYA". While the sports meet will be organised on the odd semester annually. The College consists of a large library with books related to every course as well as other pieces of literature , science and Soceity. Students are encouraged in the areas of Sports by promoting college teams in Cricket , football , volleyball , throwball , badminton etc. Students acticely take part in the Inter college tournament held by the University as well as competitions held by other colleges. National Service Scheme , IEEE , Cyber Club , Electronics Club etc., are open for students to be a part of. The Annual College magazine will also provide a space for the creative minds of the students to cherish.
Hostel Facilities :
The college does provides hostel as well as canteen facilities. Hostels for both boys and girls are available . They will be provided food from the College Canteen. other Students can also avail the canteen facilities.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
