- Infrastructure: which is not very good but in comparison to other govt colleges it is still better.
- Campus: the only best thing about iet campus if roads and greenry. You will see greenry everyehere around the campus . You will see peacocks roaming here and their. Also sports complex is under construction.
Dislikes
- The thing that i dislike about college is faculty. If you are planning to take admission in iet do not expect anything from faculty. But your seniors are always there to help you .
- Canteen: the canteen here is just like chai ki tapri. You will not get tasty food inly 3-4 items they prepare which is also not available most of the time.
Remarks :
IET LUCKNOW is the top college of AKTU. To get admission in this college one needs to take the JEE exam. Your JEE score should be above the 90 percentile to get admission. You can take various online or offline coaching to prepare for this. There isn't any GD or any other round. Based on your Jee score you get your branch through Aktu counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since I have always been interested in nature environment and chemicals I took chemical engineering. The professors are very well qualified most of them have done mtech from top IITs. But their teaching level is just average like every other govt college professor. Also, some professors nag a lot for attendance. In a year there are 2 semesters and each semester contains 5 theory subjects and 5 practicals. Due to late aktu counselling the semester is bound up in 3-4 months only. Since IET is an autonomous institute of AKTU exam copies are checked by college professors only. That's an advantage you will get by getting admission to it. The fee for dayscholars is 84775 and for hostlers, it is around 1 lakh something plus additional mess charges. You can get various scholarship assistance like UP govt scholarships and Pragati scholarships that are particularly for girls.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven't done any internships as it was my 1st year but in the upcoming years, I will try to do at least 3-4 internships and learn various software that is necessary for chemical engineering students. Usually, you get to visit at least 1 industry in the second year.
Placement Experience :
For placements don't expect much from the college. Cse students get an average package of 8-9 lpa. But for other branches placements are very poor. Students of the core branch are dedicated to crack gate exams and various students have secured single-digit or double-digit ranks every year. Top companies like Google facebook amazon do not visit the campus but students have gotten jobs based on their hard work. Mostly students get placed but the package for core branches is around 3-4 lpa only. I plan on taking the gate exam and getting a secured job at the top PSU.
Campus Life :
Life in IET is no less than a roller coaster ride. At the beginning of the first year, female students are not allowed to leave campus for 3-4 months. They are not even allowed to go to the canteen. It is good for those who only want to study because there aren't any fests conducted. Students try their best to collect funds but due to corrupt faculties they always face disparate. But every branch conducts its fest like Tantaransh and Ankuran or Mechfest,chemfest, vista and Vidyouth. There is a basketball and volleyball court available in the boy's hostel but no such facilities for girls. Various clubs like INSANIAX, MIRAGE, PARMARTH, SWARANJALI, and AURORAS are present in which u can participate and showcase your talent. They also go to various IITs and even win competitions.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
