Since I have an interest in statistics and this college is close to my home that's why I chose it. The good things I will mention about my college are the academics, campus life, crowd, hostel accommodation, greenery, and various sports facilities. There is no such bad thing, but you might find the fluctuating quality of messy food. One must give CUET to get admission to UG and PG programs here. There is no GD or interview.
As I already mentioned, I have an interest in statistics and also data analytics. That's why I chose this course. The academics of the Department of statistics are great, the professors are highly qualified. All of them have a PhD and some have a post doctorate too. There is no fee hike policy and the overall cost of study goes up to 70,000 per year including tuition, mess, hostel, and other miscellaneous fees. Two CIAs and an end-semester exam are conducted in each semester which are moderately difficult. There is no scholarship or financial assistance provided because the fees are already low.
I have not opted for any internship since I want to focus only on my academics but some companies partner up with IITs and provide internships to undergraduate and postgraduate students, some of them are Teachnook and Cognizance.
There is no placement for undergraduate programs except B.Tech. Placements do happen in the Department of Statistics and Biotechnology only for MSc students. Some of the recruiters are TCS and Cognizant which offer an average package of 5 LPA. The placement percentage is low since most of the students go for higher studies. I will go for an MSc in statistics after my graduation.
Srijan is a fest conducted in Curaj every year in January. Several activities like sports competitions, dancing, singing, acting, and various cultural activities are organized during this event. We have a big library and reading hall here, which has a huge collection of books and journals from various fields and subjects. There are various classrooms and labs in each department, having LED lights, fans, AC and smart boards. We have a big auditorium for the conduction of cultural and extracurricular activities, a sports ground for cricket, basketball, volleyball, handball, football and hockey. Facilities for indoor games like chess and table tennis are also available. There are various cultural and sports clubs run by students, and one of them is VTC.
Look the quality of mess food is sometimes okayish and sometimes really good but I won't say it's bad. Once you get admission to your academic program, you will instantly get hostel accommodation. The hostels are very affordable here having a fee of 24k per year(same as tuition) and 30k per year for mess. If you don't want to opt for a hostel, you can go for rooms and PG, which are located just outside campus.
I am not into placement and job opportunities by my course I am preparing for a government exam hence I need a degree for that On the other hand as it is a government college There are high chances of placements with good packages
Its an 100% placement college with internships opportunities at 7th semester The college gives details mock questions whick can be asked during interviews sessions. The college even have great company opportunities
I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams
Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.
You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.
our course first batch is still not gradutaed so there is no info about placements but there is such help in internship. they also told that they will give placment asiistance from their side , lets see
The internship experience is provided by college . Many recruiters came for recruitments every year in all the streams. companies like HUL and FMCG groups take their fresh employees and provide experience of salary basis.
I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college
Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.
There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
