I appeared in jee mains and did not get a good score, my percentile was 92. I was not getting any NITs, so I opted for state govt colleges, there is a separate selection process called reap round based on your jee score. you can choose the colleges and branches you want, and then according to your jee score, you will get the college. so I got to this college, there were no group discussions, interviews, or anything such as written tests for admission.
As I mentioned above, this was the best option as I was preferring govt colleges over Pvt colleges. the faculty is mostly guest faculty who are either PhD or have Mtech in their fields, the teaching pattern is quite alright according to colleges. The exams are held semester-wise, each sem contains a midterm exam then the final sem exams. the exam difficulty is not that much, one can pass the exam by reading for one week for the exams. A FEE hike is not a thing in this college, the cost is approx 36,000 RUP per semester, then there are exam fees of 1300 for each semester, and there are no scholarships.
The college does not help you in getting any internships, you have to find internships for yourself according to your reach. If you have the right skill set and have good referrals then you can easily get an internship of approx 10k per month, as many of my batchmates did.
The placement criteria are different for each company, some ask for 6.5, and some ask for a 7 GPA. some recruiters are secure meters Ltd, app perfect, in-time tech, Avaya solutions, and more. each company offers 3-5 offers as of now. there is no such thing as the highest package, the companies come with a fixed package, approximately 5-6 lakhs, and each selected student gets the same. so the average package selected is the same, the percentage of students getting placed has been down due to the recession. last year only 50% of students got placed in cse, I am looking for an off-campus job after a degree in web development.
Fest is not that fixed if the college has a group for fests, then fests will be organized, otherwise, there is no fest for the whole year, the library is a good thing as it contains all the books related to your academics and there are books to read other than academics also. the classrooms have digital boards and ACs. sports are average in college, cricket badminton, basketball, and table tennis are the games in which there are specified teams. There are extracurricular activities like Engineers Day, Hindi day, and Shayri, poetry, and singing competitions are held. there are some clubs run by students like Safar Taq for poetry and Shayari, then there is Kala Nidhi for singing dancing art, and there is a robotics group also.
Food quality is bad, hostel food is not that good and clean. The menu contains breakfast like poha, sandwich, bread pakoda, also parantha, and said paratha one item on one day. the lunch and dinner menu contains dal rice roti and one sabzi. registration for the hostel is done by the college administration themselves, they provide a form to fill out, and then according to your marks from last year, the rooms are offered as available. hostel costs 25000 per year, and then mess fees of approx 2500 rup per month. if you want to get a rented room or PG, you can easily get just outside of college, as approx all the houses in society situated nearby offer rooms.
I am not into placement and job opportunities by my course I am preparing for a government exam hence I need a degree for that On the other hand as it is a government college There are high chances of placements with good packages
Its an 100% placement college with internships opportunities at 7th semester The college gives details mock questions whick can be asked during interviews sessions. The college even have great company opportunities
I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams
Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.
You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.
our course first batch is still not gradutaed so there is no info about placements but there is such help in internship. they also told that they will give placment asiistance from their side , lets see
The internship experience is provided by college . Many recruiters came for recruitments every year in all the streams. companies like HUL and FMCG groups take their fresh employees and provide experience of salary basis.
I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college
Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.
There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
