Likes
- The thing that I like most about the college is its locality... Since we don't have to suffer much rush for reaching the college
- Faculty is so understanding they are supportive and cooperative and always gives us timely information regarding the college guidelines
- Since college is antiragging nobody can perform such activities which can hurt anybody's faith
Dislikes
- There should be little bit strictness for students because they don't take things seriously..they bunk classes for roaming here and there
Remarks :
I had not suffer a lot....we can directly contact the college they will ask us to visit or we can also go for online registration ...and have to provide the required documents There were no GDs and interviews and I think they must do that because it will help those eligible students to get admission who lose a chance because of late admission...
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since I am from a commerce background and I found BBA is the better option for me so I choose that. For every subject a specialised faculty is there.. they always teach understandably they give us live examples so that make us learn eagerly.
Internships Opportunities :
In the first year we did an internship in NITDP suggested by our college and they taught us how SEO works Every year there is an annual project given by the college and viva is also held every year to understand how students are contributing their self towards their work
Placement Experience :
Here every year for each semester students' job training criteria and job placement cell are there. when I was in 1st year I went for an interview in Magnum suggested by college and I got training for 15 days and then I worked there for 2 months but due to further studies, I dropped the idea of working there... Companies like TCS ... Accenture...LIC. Ujjivan etc are conducting job fairs and training Highest and average package is 5lac-10lac Almost 70%students get placement every year I am now looking forward to an MBA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So for the BBA course when I was there it was 33000 per year, maybe it has increased now I am not sure...and along with that you have to pay an exam fee ? of 1360 at the time of the exam For scholarship purposes you must belong to SC/ST and OBC...as I am from the SC category I also got a scholarship of around 15000 and since I had scored well in my 12th board I got a 40% concession. It's beneficial for every category of students if they have scored well in 12th like above 75% they will get a 10% concession and they also provided concession in 2nd-year fees as per 1st-year percentage Sc/St students can also get the benefit of free courses
Campus Life :
At the beginning of the first year, we get a fresher party from college and they also conduct a management day every year and in that students must participate compulsorily... There are various kinds of books available in the library for each department and smart boards are there in the classroom so students can get better knowledge Sports activities are also held on campus.. like 100meter race, volleyball, cricket, tug of war etc and along with that every festival is celebrated in the college recently on the occasion of Navratri previous year there was garba night in the college
Hostel Facilities :
The college had not provided a hostel facility and since I am an outsider I am staying in a private hostel.. but it doesn't at all worth it...charges are high and the facilities are not there. I am residing in Maheshwari girls hostel Kasturba Nagar.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.
An unexpected journey

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
