I got allotted this college through the neet exam. It is not that easy to get into college. Academic wise it is an amazing college with great professors how ever the management is bad and they are very moneymaking-minded. They fail to back you up and are very influential people. There are very few programs and fests compared to other colleges but the food and other facilities are good enough. Compared to other private medical colleges it is relatively a very good college.
From small I have dreamed of becoming a doctor. I thought that my college could shape me into a good one. The teaching faculty here is very good and experienced doctors although they may be a bit hard on you push you to be the best doctor you can be. The academics here are top notch and in all the departments especially first-year subjects the professors are constantly training you and preparing you for the exams. There was a strict academic schedule put out at the beginning of each year and for the most part, they stick to it unless for other reasons. The exams are reasonably difficult to prepare you for all kinds of papers but towards the end, they make papers similar to ones that you get for university and it helps you improve a lot
I plan to do post graduate MS abroad. No placements as such in men. However, the college does help you get accepted here for postgraduate degrees if you have done your undergraduate studies here and they help you throughout the process.
Around 8 lakhs tuition fee including other charges like special fee and 1 lakh hostel fees. This is to be paid 5 times throughout the course before the beginning of every year. Almost everyone has the same fees except few exceptions for the SC/ST caste. Nri students have a fee of 22 lakhs. Apart from fees, a significant amount goes to record and other amenities.
Here the number of fests is very very limited in 5 years maybe one fest is thrown. The only 2 major programs in college are Convocation of the Seniors and Onam which is celebrated well. The MBBS students are divided into houses and there is supposed to be a house-wise sports and art competition howler every year due to various reasons they get canceled. There is the student union that makes such fests and programs possible. Personally being a part of the union it is a good experience to understand politics and how to deal with difficult people. There are several clubs, music room, etc but since MBBS is a very time-consuming course the energy spent on them is feeble. Sports are pretty good with a basketball ground badminton court football ground all in very good condition where students regularly play however there are timings for girls and boys. There is also a gym in the college free of cost which also keeps us motivated and helps train the athletes.
Good food quality, hostel is decent but not the best. Easy registration and the management encourage the hostel. For the price, it's an okay hostel. Few students live in nearby pgs which have much better facilities for almost the same price.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
