Remarks :

My cousin was studying at this college and suggested me to take admitted, I did research and found out this college got a NAAC A++ rating the infrastructure is good and it was affordable for me. I took an online admission test which was very easy.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is a little outdated, but some subjects like IOT are really good. Some faculties here are not up to marks some are even worse. However there are still some professors who are professional and care about students. Exams are held timely and question levels are moderate. Students of Bihar face discrimination here. I got TB in my 4th semester and my medical leave was rejected without giving any reason and faculties treated me very badly while I was sick and came a little bit late. It was a torture to me. I must suggest for Bihar students if you are not ready for it don't get admission here.

Internships Opportunities :

I have done some internships at Codsoft and Corizo, but there was no stipend given. College doesn't provide any internships to students, I have built some projects based on data science one of which is NutriScan a packaged food ingredient scanner which scans packaged foods tells what harmful ingredients they contain and suggests healthy alternatives.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell here is very active and does everything to get you a job but due to outdated curriculum and bad faculties, students are not ready to get a job until they are doing self-study. Due to the 90% attendance criteria, students can even focus on self-study. Those who got a bit high package got it off campus. On-campus placement packages are around 5-6 LPA. I don't know any highest package on campus but one guy named Ritik Raj got placed in Service Now for 42 LPA off campus. College claims 90% placement but the reality is too far from it it may be around 40%.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am paying 1,56,000 yearly fees which are broken into two categories 86,250 for academic fees and 70,000 for hostel fees. I am availing the benefit of the Bihar student credit card(BSCC) scheme for which I am receiving 1,00,000 as a loan which I will repay after I get my job. Because I am availing the benefit of the BSCC scheme my fees are less than what other students are paying and fixed otherwise it may increase year by year. My batchmates who are not availing of this scheme are paying pay 1,92,500 yearly. As I was admission in 2022 as of now the fee for BSCC students is 2,00,000 per year now of 2024.

Campus Life :

There are not so many clubs formed here only 4 clubs are registered because the college does not approve clubs easily and also does not provide attendance for club members sometimes. Because of this, there is very little participation in clubs and no funds are given to clubs by the college. The team members of the club have to pay for any event. Therefore there are no huge events organized by clubs. The annual fest is held which is not that bad. But Because of high attendance pressure most of the students don't even participate. The library is very good and has centralized ac proper desks and Books are available.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are too old and have regular issues like water leakage and electricity outages sometimes. The hostel wifi is nice. The AC system in a hostel is just worse. Roads connecting the hostel to the college may get water logged in monsoon. Talking About mess I can't even say how bad the food is. There is a central mess which is not sufficiently big to hold the number of students that big. The mess staff behave very badly with students. The utensils are not washed cleanly it stinks. Hygiene is not maintained in the mess properly. You may not get proper nutrients and may get sick very often.

Placement Experience :

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
