Our motivation at Liverpool Hope is to actively engage with criminological, social, and criminal justice issues rather than merely observe them from a distance. This indicates that we give careful consideration to the objectives and areas of interest of our postgraduate students who choose to continue their education with us. It is a given that pursuing an MA in Criminology will be an intellectually stimulating experience that will challenge preconceived notions about current issues such as globalization, state crime, green and environmental crime, protest policing, and the impact of gender, race and ethnicity, poverty, and social exclusion on criminal justice issues.
