NICHE UG Admission 2025

NICHE offers BBA, B.Sc., and B.Com courses at the undergraduate level. The basic eligibility is to have cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination with relevant subjects.

  • For B.Sc. (PCM), the students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

NICHE MTech Admission 2025

NICHE offers a full-time MTech course in various specializations. For two years, the programme is provided in regular manner.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The students who wish to get admission must have cleared BTECH with minimum 45% marks are eligible to apply.
  • Students will have to pass GATE or entrance exam to confirm admission in MTech.

Selection Criteria

  • For admission in M.E/MTech courses, the student has to write an entrance examination designed to test the proficiency of the student in the relevant branch of the UG Degree.
  • Candidates are exempted to appear for entrance exam if they have GATE/GRE score or a score in the examination organised at the All-India Level by the constituent statutory authority.
  • Admission to the M.E/MTech programmes by the university shall be granted on the basis of the marks in the qualifying examination and the performance of the prospective student in the entrance test.
  • A relaxation of 5% should be given to the students belonging to reserved classes.

NICHE PG Admission 2025

NICHE offers MA, M.Sc., M. Com courses at the postgraduate level. The duration for these courses is two years. The basic eligibility is to have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant subjects.

M.Com

  • The basic eligibility criteria to pursue an M. Com degree in NICHE for a candidate is that one should have a graduation degree in Commerce Stream.
  • The student shall satisfy the conditions regarding qualifying marks, number of attempts, and mode of admission, age, and physical fitness as prescribed by the competent statutory authority.
  • Despite having cleared the above qualifying examination, the student shall write an entrance test designed to test the aptitude of the constituent statutory authority.

MCA

  • Students have to pass graduation with minimum 50% marks.
  • Students will have to qualify the entrance exam in order to secure their admission.

Noorul Islam Center of Higher Secondary (NICHE) offers many M.Phil and PhD courses at research level The prerequisite for qualifying is having earned a master's degree or an equivalent credential in the pertinent fields.

  • PhD in Science and Humanities: M.Sc./MCA/MA or any other qualifications recognized as equivalent thereto in relevant branch of Science and Humanities with a minimum 55% marks.

Selection Criteria

Admission to PhD programmes offered by NICHE will be based on the performance of the student in an entrance test conducted by the university. The students will be finalised for admission on the basis of performance on the written examination or NET Score.

All GATE/NET qualified students will be admitted directly to the PhD program. Other qualified students will be summoned for a written examination. The students will be finalised and called for interviews by the university's selection committee based on their performance in the written examination.

Offline Process

To apply students can download the application form through the university’s website, collect the form from the university’s office in person, or get the form from the post on payment of INR 550/- in cash or through Demand Draft in favour of “Registrar, Noorul Islam University, Kumara coil” payable at Nagercoil.

Online Process

  1. Candidates must first visit Noorul Islam College's official website.
  2. To register for UG and PG programmes, select "NICAS Admission."
  3. After that, a screen with an online registration window appears. The candidate chooses either a UG or PG programme. According to that, the registration form will open on the right and the candidate must'sign in' using his or her email address before filling it out.
  4. Candidates may begin filling out the form after logging in. All mandatory fields (*) must be filled out.
  5. The final date for applications is set by the college when the examination mark statement is released after the tenth working day.
  6. Along with the application form, the candidate was required to submit an interview card with the required postage stamp and their complete address.
  7. Candidates who are chosen will be notified of their selection, and on the date and time specified on the interview card, they should arrive for the interview procedure on campus with their parents.
  8. All original documents must be carried by the applicant during the interview.
  9. If a candidate's selection is verified, that person must immediately pay the amount the college has set. Admission will be denied if there is a problem with the payment.
  10. Manonmaniam Sundaranar University must approve a candidate who did not pass the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination.
  11. Only those students who have paid all payments, including the tuition and additional institute expenses, are permitted to attend classes.
