my JNAFAU life

What I Liked

Dedicated infrastructure for each department
Faculty members are expertised in their field of study
Library with a large collection of properly organised books

What I didn’t like

Sports ground is not big enough to accommodate all the students of University.
Students will have Restricted permissions after 6PM

Placement Experience:

A student can apply for internships even after completing the 1st semester. Faculty members encourage students to take up internships and attend some workshops. in addition to these Each year there will a placement drives, where some companies conduct campus interviews to select young talents. Students of final year can apply for the interviews. - each year 25% of students gets placed and most of the students gets training internships.

Remarks:

There is a state conducted entrance exam for 12th class students, EAMCET. After the exam a selection process takes place, during the selection process students can opt as per their choice and they will be taken or rejected into the college as per their eligibility (ranking). So, i have got selected into JNAFAU and into JNTUK through the counselling process of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exams respectively. Since i have no interest in biology related courses, i have to choose for JNAFAU. after looking at the environment of JNAFAU, i have decided to study there.

What I Liked

College infrastructure is very attractive to eyes gives peace to heart cause of plants grown in corridor. Good faculty .

Placement Experience:

Placements are good most of the students are placed with nice pakages.and i am a fresher dont know much about caampus placements .we need to get more than 80% overall and attendance should be more than 75%.for

Remarks:

We have entrance test FADEE for geeting admision in collge.reservation is applied during time of councillings. We have 3 phases of councilings .we can only join in college by geeting seat in counciling there is no option for payment seats.

Spa- JNAFAU DTDP

What I Liked

I like our auditorium very much. The auditorium is very luxurious evn compared to some high end private colleges.
Our faculty is super nice and always support students in everything even for sports or other extracurricular activities.

What I didn’t like

The ground for our college is not big as it can't accommodate more than two sports events at once.
The stationary can be a bit bigger for the college.

Placement Experience:

We have regular updates for internships and also the placement cell provide good opportunities after the graduation. Our faculty also helps out students for better internship opportunities. And also refers students to certain companies for a better job or suitable jobs for students accordingly.

Remarks:

For this college we need to write EAMCET through which we can acquire a seat in this college in the specific course. I had a discussion with other seniors and got to know a vast variety of skills I can acquire through this course.

Things to be known about Architecture course in JNAFAU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty are pretty good all are Architecture professors only, they all have done batchelors/masters also in Architecture field, the exams were every six months and the difficultly level was 8.5/10

Remarks:

The factor made me choose this clg is that i always wanted to become an Architect, as my father is engineer, he inspired me to take up this course, I had to write NATA entrance exam, in which I secured 102/200 marks and qualified to study in JNAFAU college

Think once more

What I Liked

Infrastructure is okay but providing with more facilities will be helpful for the students as we have many workshops it would help students to get a hand in experience .
Faculty is quite friendly and students can spend a quality time in the campus

What I didn’t like

For my course there should be more attention on developing a helpful and relatable curriculum
No hostel facility No proper Canteen....

Placement Experience:

Very few campus placements but after completing the course we can continue for the master's or else we can work for any architecture or interior design firm. We have internships in the academic curriculum so mostly it will help to guide our path to what should we do next

Remarks:

For the b.design course, there will be an Entrance exam FADEE which was conducted by the college only. They share some previous question papers which helps to know the pattern of the question paper. It took time for the results as it was COVID-19 time while I was joining. There will be 2 rounds of counselling to allow the seat.

JNAFAU-DTDP

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course caters to future employability since we are taught CS, Design, Multimedia, and GIS. The faculty is excellent. Provide a one-on-one tutoring experience. The eye for detail stands out to me. Scholarships are awarded too.

Remarks:

This course is the perfect combination of creativity and practical application. We are taught CS, Design, Multimedia, GIS which cater to future employability. The eligibility criteria for the course is +2 followed by a common entrance test (TSEAMCET).

My experience at JNAFAU

What I Liked

Campus Life is pretty good and it feels good to hangout with friends after college hours.
The faculty are very friendly and always ready to help.

What I didn’t like

Not a great college for infrastructure though it is a architecture college
Most of the times the faculty is out doing some works and the classes they take are less compared to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

There will be no placements since it is a architecture college. We have to build our own portfolio based on the works we do in our 4 years of architecture and we have to approach architecture firms with our portfolios to hire us.

Remarks:

I applied for tsbarch in which I got a rank of 28 and it got me a seat in this college. It is a pretty good college for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. There were no group discussions or interviews or additional written test for admissions. Only nata and tsbarch were enough.

What I Liked

Computer labs ,design room , sports room, cafeteria,
Our college consistent of 5 floores in which they also provide lift facilities

What I didn’t like

Our faculty were from contract basis so they were not that skilled for teaching DTDP course
Where as for campus life it was very good class room because they were spacious

Placement Experience:

For my course which is digital techniques for design and planning (DTDP) b.tech course they have no campus recruitment because our course was not that identifed so we had a hard time for searching for internship and jobs

Remarks:

I got the college seat through EMCET exam and I choose this B.tech DTDP which is digital techniques for design and planning which consists of IT , Design, Multimedia and Planning from 1st semester to 4th semester it's about design and planning from 5th semester to 8th semester it's about IT and multimedia
