Svyasa-university is a private institute, established in 1986 in Bangalore. It was founded by Padmashri Dr. H.R. Nagendra, also known as the “Yoga Scientist”. It is approved by the UGC and AICTE. S-VYASA is also graded ‘A+’ by NAAC and recognized as the Centre for Excellence by the Ministry of AYUSH. It offers BBA, BCA, BSc, BCom, BTech, MBA, MCA, MSc, Yoga Programs, and PhD.

Svyasa university offers an MBA in various specializations as a popular course. To be eligible for admission, candidates must score at least 50% marks in a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. The final selection will be based on merit in the qualifying examination or marks in the entrance test conducted by the university. SVYASA University fees for an MBA is INR 6 lakhs.

Svyasa-university also offers a Yoga Instructor Course (YIC) as its flagship program. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have completed a 12th or 2-year Diploma with basic English knowledge from a recognized board. The final selection will be based on merit in the qualifying examination. The course duration is 1 month and the seat intake is 500. The course fee for YIC is INR 30,000 for Dormitory Accommodation and $2500 for single occupancy for foreign nationals.
